Title: Had my doubts, they proved me wrong!
Review: There are so many walkie talkies on Amazon I had no idea who to trust. For whatever reason I purchased these. I waited over a year to write this review because I really wanted to be sure it was an honest review. I can say that these little guys have blown me away. Super clear, long range, no problems. We are now driving across several states in our RV with a few friends in other RV's. I purchased the "3 pack" so we have 3 RV's talking. No matter how far apart we are, all three of us can hear each other crystal clear. FYI, RV's are really loud inside and it's hard to hear in them, but we have no problem hearing or understanding people when using these. They also work great when we are mountain biking. Not sure about the maximum distance, but if you plan to use them to talk between other cars that are caravanning or with other bike riders on trails, they are great. I suspect they would also be perfect for hiking, skiing, or many other outdoor sports. I highly recommend them! FYI, they also last a long time on a charge and are simple to use.

Title: Hard of hearing people can hear it's beep
Review: I got these because I had a knee replacement and rented a hospital bed for our living room. My husband can't hear a bell in the night for when I needed help for previous surgeries, so got these. He could hear this when I hit the button for notifying the other handhelds. This worked better than even calling his cell phone, he sleeps through that.Only bad things were: we live near a campground, others were coming over our walkie talkies, even when changed channels. After about a week, one kept going off for no reason, not sure if battery or what.

Title: Oh, Yeah!
Review: These are great. I keep a survival kit in my vehicle because it is very cold where I live. These radios are a very welcome addition to my kit. It has lots of channels, on the off chance you ever get stranded and need assistance. I like that the charging cable fits all 3 radios simultaneously. That saves a lot of time. They each come with their own lanyard, I case you want to wear it around your neck to free up your hands. I hope I never need them in an emergency but, if I do, I feel much more confident with these radios in my survival kit. I highly recommend these. Oh, yeah!
