Cherry wood PLA looks a medium reddish brown and teak wood filament looks golden or medium brown.

Title: Beautiful filament
Review: The wood filament is fantastic! I’ve probably bought 10-12 rolls of it or so and it been great! It was a learning curve to print, since it is a brittle filament and did clog my nozzle a few times while finding the right settings for my printers but it’s been running smooth since! I absolutely love the textured feel it has because it feels more like wood than filament. It sticks to both my textured PEI plate and Smooth PEI plate well with no glue needed. I just had to keep them temp down on the build plate. It also prints at a lower temperature so the wood doesn’t burn in the nozzle (I found that out the hard way). All around it’s great filament and easy enough to use. I do get some stringing that I haven’t been able to get rid of while printing but all in all my prints come out very clean and I can just use a heat gun to get rid of the stringing.

Title: Great bundle! Good filament!
Review: Came packed very well in a little shoebox sized package every roll individually sealedLiterally threw a profile together and printed perfectly off the bat , the walnut looks gorgeous especially, that one prints 5 degrees hotter than the rest for some reason or it doesnt stick but other than that will be ordering more as these run out , i kind of like the smaller rolls, the make breaking on these brittle filaments less common as extruder has to fight less weight

Title: Perfect roll beautiful printing after first trying an awful 4 pack bundle
Review: This review is for the OVV3D Wood 30% Oak infused PLA filament 1kg roll while comparing to the bundle. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE RECOMMENDED MANUFACTURER SETTINGS! I was a newbie but figured it out in Bambu Studio. Set the temps to rec spec!I first bought the 4 x 200g pack 30% wood bundle, which was a disaster. Extremely dry stuck knotted encrusted rolls that I paid good money for. I was able to try printing with them and the results were great but much of the rolls were unusable knotted and broken. After I filed for a refund as Reddit people recommended, I took apart the 200g cardboard roll to find that glue had spread into the roll onto a bunch of the filament cementing it turning the filament into a hard molded rock-like thing. So with my money back and a need to purchase wood filament I was at a stand still. I wanted 30% wood but the choices were limited. Should I buy OVV3D again which gave me beautiful results but awful rolls? Should I take an expensive risk and purchase a 1kg spool of Oak Wood? I’m glad I did because this time the roll was perfect and so were the results as you can see in the photos. I also included a swatch of 15% Ebony from another company which was great but only had 15% wood. Everywhere I look people are talking about all other companys that do wood filament like Hatchbox which is expensive but contains hardly any real wood! Nobody ever mentions OVV3D which has atleast 30% real wood. As it prints you can see the sawdust texture as well as smell the beautiful aroma. The results of 2 color designs are spectacular. I printed on both the Bambu A1 mini and the P1S. It’s always best to monitor the first layers as there are tendencies for loose threads to appear and get stuck in places but can be quickly pulled out.The company is getting some bad reviews from that 4 pack bundle here. They need to improve their rolls especially if they want customers who use the AMS they need to stop using the cardboard. At these prices a nice transparent plastic spool would be best. I know it’s not best for the environment but those spools are no good for the Bambu AMS system.Ok OVV3D you have work to do. You got a great product that if improved could be the best real wood pla out there if you had some promotional support on social media from people posting beautiful results.

Title: Excellent print quality with my std PLA settings
Review: Ender 3 S1 Pro used standard settings 60C bed temp, 210C first layer then 200C with a brim. Great adhesion. Insignificant stringing. Dimensions precise. I would like to see a larger color selection. I used it to create a replacement castor wheel for a piece of antique furniture where the original wheels were carved from wood.

Title: P1S + AMS Stuck
Review: I have used several PLA Wood filaments from different brands without any issues. However, my experience with this brand has been extremely disappointing. Despite following the recommended settings and performing multiple calibrations to find the perfect flow, the filament failed during a print. After an hour of printing, I noticed that the filament had stopped extruding. I attempted to unload the filament, ensuring it was cut properly, but it broke inside the mechanism of my AMS and clogged my extruder. This has never happened with any other brand I’ve used.I cannot recommend this filament due to its poor performance and the hassle it caused. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable brand.

Title: Best wood filament I have ever used. Real wood look, feel and smell. easy print.
Review: Excellent quality. real wood. beautiful printing. Will be buying more. I would (no pun intended) suggest using a 6mm nozzle to prevent clogging but it may work fine with a 4mm or 5mm nozzle. Great for making any realistic wood prints. Looks, smells and feels like real wood. that is because it is made with 30% real wood. I just cant say enough about the excellent quality. you need to buy it and try it.

Customers say

Customers like the color quality of the thermoplastic filament. They mention it's beautiful, vibrant, and silky. However, some customers have reported that it clogs their extruders and printers. Opinions are mixed on the filament quality, print quality, functionality, value for money, adhesion, and ease of use.
