Title: Everything except the refrigerator
Review: Was always an avid Fitbit 5 user but the quality of Fitbit has declined. I have gone through two in the past two years. So far the positives on the Vivosmart 5 (cost comparable) are the all-in-one protective band, sleek design (a little bit narrower than the Fitbit 5). The functions are impressive, accurate and limitless but not simple to use. Initial set-up is a breeze, step by step on the band and app but there are no instructions after that so plan on spending some time getting to know your Vivosmart 5, donât get frustrated it may take 4 or 5 days but once you figure it out your going to love it, I do. Some functions will not appear for a couple of days as data must be gathered to generate results. Biggest draw back is no found logging. They work in conjunction with My Fitness Pal, which wants you to pay premium to use almost any of their features, yuck and the syncing between the two is not great, so there is never a accurate breakdown of calories in/out without bouncing back and forth between the apps. Fitbit 5 wins over Vivosmart 5 for food logging. Very happy with the purchase and excited to put my Vivosmart 5 to the test!

Title: Very happy with purchase
Review: Like the connect app functionality; connects to apple health, but use the app day to day. One day about 3 months in the monitor stopped working. Went into settings, reset to default, full functionality returned with no loss of data. Also like that I am not required to purchase a premium plan. I think the tracker is accurate enough, but I can say that it is very consistent. As a Physician I realize this is not a diagnostic quality instrument, but it does not need to be. It just needs to be consistent. I use it to trend my lifestyle by comparing today to yesterday, and last week, and 30 days ago. Charge lasts several days. Overall extremely pleased with this purchase.

Title: Battery does not last as long as it should between charges.
Review: I do like this product. What is does do is good, and the price point is excellent. It is of good quality, but not quite as heavy as the Vivosmart 4. It does not have the ability to track the number of floors ascended and descended, even though it is an option for an activity to track.

Title: Do not buy for cycling
Review: After loving my Vivosmart 4 for many years, I purchased the 5 when my band broke. The good: Garmin upgraded their sleep insights. The bad: 1) My primary activity is cycling. After 4 rides (which I also track with mapmyride) I will NOT use it again. Though it is connected to my iphone GPS, it significantly (50-90%) underestimates my mileage (on a 30-40 mile ride). This is a common route that my vivismart 4 never had problems with. 2) The battery does not last as long 3) Itâs bigger on my small wrist, but I could live with that if everything else was great-sadly, itâs not. Garmin needs to stop the bells & whistles and get back to the basics.

Title: As described
Review: I had a Vivosmart 4 and wanted something similar. It has a few more features than the 4. I basically use it for steps walked in a day and my sleep patterns. I don't have the face lit up every time I move my hand. I don't use the other features and so the battery does last 7 days using it this way. Don't know how long it would last between charges using other features.

Title: Works well enough, but easy to lose
Review: So I've had ths Garmin for almost 2 years. It has decent battery life, good connectivity, good app and all the basic tracking functions. Adjusting whixh measures you see on tye watch face is supposed to be easy on the linked app, but that setting never worked right. Overall it functioned OK. HOWEVER, the actual unit pops out of the silicone band for almost no reason all the time. I've lost it about 9 times doing work in the yard, out paddling and today for the last time lost it at the grocery store somehow. The app helps find the needle in a haystack in the dark as it lights up, but only by pure luck did I find it in the ocean twice. No idea how it popped loose today, but now it's gone forever and all it needed was a better, more solid way to keep it in the flimsy bands. The bands also loosen their hold on the unit over time and I went through at least 4 of them. Not bad as a tool. Absolutely awful trying to keep it.

Review: I replaced my vivosmart with a newer version as I lost the previous one on vacation. Garmin products have always been dependable products for the use I make of them. Both the watch and its app are easy to use and understand. The watch and it's band are sturdy but not that fashionable.Unlike its predecessor, the vivosmart 5 has an actual button, which I appreciate - no mistapping possible. Battery life is also good. After 4 days, I'm at around 50% (started wearing it when it was at around 96%). I do not use the blood oxygen function, as it drains a lot of energy. The sleep tracking function is ok. It tracks your sleep and sleep phases, but not always? It's odd: I get a message it didn't get tracked, but later in the day, the data becomes available.Regardless, it is a dependable product.

Review: this is overall a very good health tracker, if not for some minor problems:pro:1, the fucntionality are really good, get the improtant data you need without the unnecessary stuff like gps2, app show plenty of metrics, which is very useful3, charges pretty fastcon:1,for me, wrist band cause allergic reaction in certain situations, and there's no none silicone alternatives, so i had to improvise with some tape2, app is useful, but i'd rather it work without online connection3, with all the sensors on, the battery life isn't very long

Review: First fitness tracker that I've owned, and I like it.The purpose of getting this was for me to better understand if I was being too sedentary when working from home, and to see how good/bad I was sleeping. The tracker is great at delivering good information about how active I am, and the sleep data seems pretty accurate as it describes pretty much how I feel when I wake up.I was a bit skeptical about the claimed battery life, but it's pretty accurate. 6-7 days with daily workout tracking, wearing it all night, and without the consistent pulse ox monitoring.Picked this over a Fitbit and I'm happy with my selection.
