Title: A nice little air fryer for my small kitchen
Review: My kitchen has pretty lousy wiring so I was limited to a low-wattage air fryer. I ended up picking up an older brother to this model during a Black Friday sale, but I made the mistake one day of holding it by the basket handle while carrying it back to its home on top of the fridge. Oops. The fall broke the fan, so I ordered this as a last-minute replacement since it's the same company and the same size. There are a couple of minor differences with the timer and temperature controls, but it's basically the same unit. As it turns out, it's the same exact basket, so now I have a spare.Having a smaller air fryer limits what you can do, but I've been able to reheat leftover fried food and chicken wings in it to great success, make quick steak tips, make pretzel nuggets out of leftover pizza dough, mac & cheese bites, frozen blintzes, and more. It's great at small steaks in particular; it can handle a 6 oz. serving quite nicely and does even better when that steak is cut up into tips. It can do a small calzone as well, but definitely use a thin-crust dough. It's become a welcome addition to my kitchen, and I learned my lesson not to carry it by the basket handle anymore. The grill pan inside the basket is relatively easy to clean (I don't have a dishwasher). and so is the basket. When the unit was new, there was a lot of that typical nasty Chinese plastic smell, but it dissipated very quickly with useâespecially after thoroughly washing the basket several times. I don't get that smell anymore. Per the instructions I've never sprayed cooking spray directly into the basket or onto the grill pan, but I've used it on the food itself as appropriate. The only real downside to this unit, apart from the size being a bit of a limiting factor (understandably so), is the timer. You can't really get fine control on the timer, so I overshoot the mark by several minutes and just use a digital timer to keep track of when to take the food out.

Title: Took a chance. Pleasantly surpised.
Review: I've been curious about air fryers for quite awhile, but didn't want to pay a lot just to find out I wouldn't use it much. Also because I already have limited space for storage with all the other gadgets. But after reading the reviews of this small unit I decided it was worth $35 or so to see if I would agree. I've had it about a week and so far have used it every day, all for frozen items that I usually bake or microwave. I must say that everything has turned out much better using the air fryer. Everything comes out perfectly crispy and in less time and temperature than using the oven. Fries, chicken strips and wings, onion rings, battered fish, shrimp and clams were all better this way. And I swear the wings were even juicier and surprisingly more flavorful. I definitely will not be going back to the previous methods. So far I've cooked everything at 375 for 10 to 15 minutes and the results are very consistent. If something is not quite done to your liking just put it back in for a few more minutes. It is extremely easy to clean. The exhaust air is about the same as a hair dryer. The compact size makes it easy to store. Regarding the smell, I took the rubber bumpers off the grate and there was absolutely no bad odor. The controls are so simple I don't see why other units even bother with digital controls. I used the timer on my phone to compare with the manual timer on the unit and it is close enough not to matter.

Title: CHEFMAN. works great.
Review: It is easy to use, and quick to cook or heat your food. I really like it. But best part is the size, it does not take up a lot of space. For the size and price, it is great.

Title: Love it but
Review: I really like this air fryer. It works well and I love that I can fry so many different foods.Iâm unhappy because after only 2 months the finish is peeling off the bottom of the fryer. Iâm very careful to not use anything abrasive, so I donât understand it. Makes me sad. Wondering if it is safe to use.

Title: Correct parchment filter size
Review: Haven't used this yet, but it's a cute, compact air fryer, which looks like it will be perfect for 1 or 2 people. Just want other buyers to know that the correct size of parchment filter for this Chefman 2 qt Mini is the 5.5" square one... I mistakenly bought the 6.3" filters (because they were listed in the Chefman Mini ad under "customers also bought"), but these are too big, and we'll have to return them. It looks like you should avoid using the parchment filters if you're cooking a very small amount (one chicken strip), since they conduct heat, and could become flammable. Otherwise, they should be good for making cleanup easier!

Title: Single Serving Size
Review: Easy to clean, quiet, easy to use for single serving use. One full boneless, skinless chicken breast may fit inside and must be turned a couple times.Potato "crowns" cook okay, but plan on 20-25 minutes. I tried two layers of crinkle cut Orida frozen fries and it took 28 minutes at suggested temp.Nowhere in the directions does it recommend preheating, but I suggest two minute preHeating at 400 before cooking anything, and cook everything at that same temp and adjust time accordingly.I tried canned Chickpeas (patted dry and left for 1 hour) and had to cook half at a time (with and without oil).I split two SMALL zucchini and had to stack halves. With a parmesan/seasoned crust it took 30+ minutes and juggling the halves to brown them.I bought the air fryer simply to see what all the fuss is was about. I'm not impressed as my convection oven and toaster/oven seem to work better, more flavor, and takes less or the same amount of time.

Recomendado!
