Review: Great filter , I noticed how well it works after Thanksgiving I had some food that dripped down in my stove and when I went to use the stove a few days laters I forgot to clean it and my house filled with smoke , the purifier started working right away ! I have one in my dining room and in my basement near the cat litter boxes , I have plans to buy more

Review: This is a nice room air filter that definitely works. It does require filter changes. The instructions suggest changing every 6000 hours but that is very dependent on the level of dust in the air and animals in your home. It is a single filter with three components including charcoal. I would say the replacement filter pricing is reasonable compared to another air purifier that we have but it is an added cost. When you first get this room air filter make sure you open it up to remove the packaging around the provided filter. When in auto mode and running at low fan speed it is a bit noisier than we would like. Sleep mode is definitely quieter but that mode is a fixed low speed versus auto mode that adjusts the fan speed as needed.

I have a pet, so pet hair and odors were a major issue for me. It cleared out the pet dander within hours, and the air felt noticeably fresher and cleaner. It’s not just about pet hair though, it also helps to remove all sorts of other pollutants, which I didn’t realize I was breathing in until I started using this air purifier. I live in an area with high traffic, and the purifier has made a significant difference in clearing out the pollution and making the air feel lighter. One feature I’ve come to appreciate is the sleep mode. It runs at an ultra-quiet 25dB, which makes it barely noticeable while I sleep. Title: Nice but pricey
Review: Great purifier but in the expensive side, IMO. The filters (JH-028A hepa) are waaaay too expensive. The beats price I saw was 2x the cost of my other purifier’s filters.Honestly - I own a lot of purifiers and the first thing I do is check the cost of the filters. This is a great purifier but I do not consider it cost effective given the other options out there.

Title: Works very well but the filters are expensive
Review: I'm very happy with the functionality of the air purifier for filtering particles, not much of an affect on organics. I was able to take a look inside the filter and noticed very little surface area of the carbon. I was happy to see that the prefilter is catching a lot of dust even after only a few days.I have one drafty window in a house on a farm and I have this very close to that window and it has been doing an excellent job at keeping the dust out which is exactly why I wanted a HEPA filter.
