Title: Fun gift
Review: I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old son. He loves it. We went outside in the dark last night and tossed the football. The ball was very bright. My son did have one suggestion. He said it would be better if we had glow necklaces so we could see who we are throwing it too. (I make pick up some at Walmart). You will have to inflate the ball when you first get it. Not a problem for us because we had what we needed to inflate it. I would certainly recommend this football.

Title: Great at lighting up, bad at staying inflated
Review: Bought one and returned it because it was leaking air from the inflation hole immediately upon first use. Returned it and got another one which deflated slower but still deflated within an hour or two. We are keeping that one and will just inflate it at each use. Because it is firm silicone, you can still use it when it is deflated and it holds its shape, it just won't feel like a real football. Even when inflated it doesn't feel or fly like a real football because it is made of silicone. However, this is probably necessary for it to light up and it does THAT really well. It allows us to play in the dark (which happens very early in the winter). The kids love it and don't notice any of the downsides that I notice. Just the fact that we can still go outside after dark and play football is a phenomenal feature and good enough reason to keep it despite its flaws.
