Title: Great phone. Wish flagship phones are like this
Review: Highlights:- Real flicker free at all brightness levels (measured with oscilloscope)- Convenient side fingerprint- Decent photo quality with sufficient lighting- 3.5mm headphone jackGave up on flagship phones because all of them use low frequency+deep modulation PWM displays. This LCD phone is really easy on my eyes. This cheap phone is surprisingly smooth and responsive for daily use; However it does get a bit laggy in Google Maps and after fresh reboots.Side fingerprint sensor is magnitudes more convenient to those in-display fingerprint sensors. With it you can easily unlock your phone before it leaves your pocket.Photo quality is also surprisingly good when there's sufficient lighting. Scans document fine. ofc photo is crappy at backlight and night - This is expected for phones at this priceBattery lasts reasonably long.It does cheap out on lots of subtle points, like 1x1 WiFi antenna, usb2.0, but overall still great phone.I wish flagship phones are simply premium versions of this phone, instead of painful flagships with eyeball-killing screens, sluggish in-display fingerprint sensors, and deliberately removed headphone jacks.

Title: Moto G 5G 2023: love this phone!
Review: I've never spent $1000 on a phone and I never will, so I can't compare this phone to some of the higher end ones. But compared to past phones all $200 or less, this phone is AMAZING. My last phone was the Moto G Play 2021 which came with 3gb ram and 32gb memory and although it was a good phone, the memory filled up very quickly and I was always having to delete apps to use new ones, then delete them when I was done to get the original apps back. This problem went away after I finally realized I could install a micro sd card and have my whole spotify playlist downloaded onto it, but now that I have 128 gb of memory, that is something I will never have to worry about. Having an additional gb of ram has made it much faster than the previous phone, the picture quality is nice, everything works wonderfully. I imagine since technology is advancing so quickly, this phone is what people would pay $500+ a few years ago for, but now we can have it for the low price of $149.99.If you decide to get it, make sure you get the correct case. There are many phone cases on Amazon where people are complaining that the case doesn't fit the phone and subsequently leaving a 1-star review, not realizing they got the wrong case. It's surprising how many people don't use their brains. If a case doesn't fit or the cutouts don't line up, which is more likely: that the case producer manufactured the product incorrectly, or that you ordered the wrong case? In the Moto G Series, they have the Moto G Play, Moto G Pure, Moto G Stylus, Moto G Power and Moto G. So many Motos... Find out what phone you have and what year it is to make sure you are getting the correct case. I highly recommend the Anloes case for this phone, it is better and cheaper than the Otter case and has a dust cover for the charging port which the Otter case does not.

Title: Great budget phone
Review: Slightly thicker than expected. Build quality feels a bit cheap and plasticky. Camera could perform better in low light and display could be a little brighter. However, at this price point you're getting phenomenal value including a fast CPU, lots of ram and memory (expandable via micro SD card slot), incredible battery life, wireless charging, NFC, and a nice display. All in all, a rock solid budget offering from Motorola. Well done.

Title: Fantastic Mid-range performance
Review: My Pixel 4 bricked in January, so I grabbed a Moto G Play 2023 at Best Buy, which is a lower end performing phone.I purchased this Moto G Power 5g 2024 a week ago to replace it.WOW. I'm impressed so far. This phone's performance feels like a really dependable mid-range phone, and not a budget phone. It doesn't stutter, and is fairly quick. I get double the storage than my Pixel had. And 8GB of RAM is great. The cameras aren't as great as my Pixel was, but it still takes decent photos. It has NFC for tap payments, and nice sounding stereo speakers. It's running Android 14 out of the box, and one OS update to Android 15 is promised, as well as 3 years of security updates.A phone battery isn't going to last much longer than 3 years, so I am happy with this. For the price of this phone, and everything I'm getting, I am very satisfied. This will be a great phone for me for a few years. Highly recommend this phone. Not everyone needs to spend $1,000 for a flagship device. My Pixel 4 was a Flagship device, and I am not noticing ANY performance differences, besides the slightly lesser camera.
