Title: Great Book & Simple Recipes
Review: I bought this book because I saw it had shopping list to purchase all the ingredients every week. The anti-inflammatory diet has been a game changer for me, helping me drop some much-needed weight and feel better overall! The organization in this book is fabulous! There are pictures for every recipe, And very simple instructions. I relied on this book for a couple of months until I got to know what I could eat without coming, inflamed again. For anyone who is a little puffy, has an auto immune disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or just wants to feel better eating Whole Foods ⦠This is a great book to start with!

Title: Many mistakes
Review: There are so many mistakes in this book, and I'm only on Day 1. The grocery list for the first week has items in it that aren't used in any recipes, and it also skips all the ingredients for one recipe. Some of the recipes have items on the ingredient list, but the recipe itself never mentions them. There are some items that are supposed to be saved for future meals or snacks, but they're never listed again. Also, I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to do some of this stuff (making smoothies, etc.) because I work. The grocery list for week one was very expensive (and some things were impossible to find), so I don't see this being very sustainable. I gave it 3 stars because, so far, the food havs been good...but it's been frustrating and expensive to figure everything out.

Title: Yummy
Review: Beautifully illustrated and easy to use. Groceries list already prepared. Cookbooks are almost obsolete but this one is a must have. Well thought out. Easy to use even for a beginner and sophisticated enough for the novice.

Title: Noticed a difference
Review: This diet doesn't focus on calories but rather on eating foods that help reduce inflammation or don't trigger inflammation. It has menus for every day. It includes dessert many times. The recipes are in the back. I rarely feel hungry. The meals are satisfying and tasty. Most are quick and easy to make.My only complaint is they needed a better editor. There were ingredients missed on the grocery list. All the recipes were designed for two people. They tell you to just cut everything in 1/2 if it's one person. How do you do 1/2 an egg? On a few recipes they missed the unit of measurement. It would say something like 1/4 of olive oil. 1/4 cup? 1/4 tsp? 1/4 of amount listed? Lastly they don't give portion sizes. They would tell you to have 2 cups of rice then put rice in each bowl. Is that two cups cooked rice? Pre-cooked? How much in each bowl. It would require some logic and cooking experience to figure it out at times. These issues were few though.Overall, I highly recommend the book. They do say in the book that inflammation caused by disease may not have as much success. I didn't experience much reduction in inflammation body wide, but my digestive system, which had previously been in turmoil, felt much better. I have more energy and feel better in general. Even though it was not the goal, I also lost weight.

Title: Shopping list doesnât include all ingredients
Review: Annoyed! I just got all the ingredients on the shopping list for week 1 and there are several missing within the first day. Honestly I donât get how this is an anti inflammatory diet book when it has gluten and dairy galore! Two of the highest inflammatory foods. I would like my mo ney back.
