Review: I almost didn't get it because I was concerned over some of the reviews about the handle. BUT I did order it and am happy I did. The package came torn open with the handle missing, the brush head was not damaged. I called the company, as one person in comments had recommended. The lady I talked to was so gracious, she said I could return it to Amazon as damaged or she could replace the handle. She was sorry this had happened and mailed handle the next day. She also said if I had any concerns to call back. Handle and brush fit perfect. It worked nicely and cleaned my area rug and rugs I can't machine wash. I have 2 long haired dogs and was amazed at what I got up that my really good vacuum didn't. I don't have a solid rug so I can't comment on stains. I used a spray foam, brushed and vacuumed when rug was dry. Cleaning brush was very easy. I didn't need a rental machine and calling the company for help was the perfect answer-it pays to read comments. Not always good/bad but sometimes helpful.

Title: The products performs as promised
Review: I used is to scrub off many stairs in a carpet that had been neglected and it did great. I did not have to be on my knees to clean the carpet when having this brush to help me with the job. I would highly recommend it. The only issue I ran with was the telescoping handle would not stay locked in place at times and even coming apart the round plastic piece that does that. Other than that, the brush was great.

Title: Handle collapses
Review: Had and used a handful of times over 6 months. The scrub brush part is great. The handle is a poor design, instead of the connection being a hold and push button, it’s a twist to tighten. It collapses during use. Will no longer tighten, just twists. Used duct tape to hold the pole together.

Title: Sturdy, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use
Review: I just received my Cleanovation carpet brush today. I must say I am impressed with its sturdiness, ease of use, and easy to clean. I used to get down on my knees to spot clean the carpet. With weak knees, I can't do that any longer. This brush is definitely a God-send. Whatever results you've gotten with your choice of carpet cleaner, I feel the brush could give you even better results. I do have one negative: It's not user-friendly to put the handle together. You need a beginner to intermediate level of ability to assemble.. My wish for the company to assemble the handle when packing so that the customer can simply screw the handle into the brush. That's it. Other than that I still give it a 5-Star rating. Perfect for the job!

Review: I purchased this broom to clean my area rug. I wanted it because of the adjustable pole. However, the pole doesn’t stay locked in an extended position. It continuously slid all the way down. Also, the rubber end that you can use to hang the broom on a hook Came off kept coming off I would. I can’t stoop down or bend over too far for extended periods of time, especially, for the time needed to scrub and clean and off-white area rug. The brush itself appears to be OK but I can’t read it because I couldn’t really use it because of the handle not staying in a locked position . I was very disappointed. The price was reasonable, but if it doesn’t work, then the price becomes too expensive because I purchased a product that I can’t use.
