Title: One of the Coolest Cookbooks You'll Own
Review: My wife and I have been really trying to get into different foods without 1, breaking the budget, and 2, really messing something up. This book was the perfect fit. It categorizes everything and even gives you pointers. There is a picture for almost every recipe in the book (which helps if you want to imitate the presentation of the dish....or if you just want to make sure it "looks right").Don't get the wrong impression though. This book does not hold your hand throughout, but instead allows you to experience your creation from beginning to end. It has a clear list of ingredients, expected cook time, detailed instruction and suggestions among many other features. This book not only allows you to dive into some new foods, but makes it gentle on the budget as well. Most of the ingredients for any given dish are not necessarily things you will have to go to a "specialty" market or shop to get. There are SOME "less than everyday" items, but the majority is something you've probably already used before. The ease of reading the directions, the simplicity of the ingredients, being able to tailor your meal around a time schedule, type of cuisine, focus of the entree, or just trying something different (sometimes we flip to a random page) all lead this cookbook to be the most accessible and most frequently used in our household. You will never be sorry you made this your cookbook of choice.

Title: Love this book!
Review: I love this book! The recipes are exactly what I wanted: simple yet delicious! After trying a couple recipes in the Real Simple Magazine, I decided to take a chance on this book and am so glad I did. Each recipe comes with a large, beautiful color photo (something I really wanted in a cookbook) and with simple step-by-step instructions. The ingredients are often items you may have in your pantry or are easy to find in the grocery store... and I have yet to come across a recipe that requires a huge amount of time or a large grocery list. I would guess I've made about 6 or 7 recipes and they've all been absolutely delicious (and my husband and I are pretty critical about what we cook!). And if you're curious about the nutritional value of each recipe, you can find that in the back of the book. I highly recommend!

Title: Perfect book for a busy student
Review: I'm a PhD student who doesn't have much time to cook. This book gives a lot of simple and quick recipes, which do not require too many ingredients. The instructions are succinct. (I have wordy and lengthy recipe books.)I like the layout of the book: all recipes fit in one page so you don't have to go back and forth between two pages while cooking. The pictures are great as well. There are a lot of overlapping ingredients used in many recipes, which is good for me since I cannot go grocery shopping often. One of my favorite cook book!

Title: A good cookbook for busy Moms or beginners
Review: Real Simple is one of my favorite magazines and I ordered their book of Real Simple Best Recipes for my daughters as they are busy and need something easy and good to cook at the end of the day. The book doesn't disappoint: the recipes are really simple. The photography is excellent. But if you can cook, as we can, you may find yourself chosing a recipe and then saying, "an onion and some garlic would be good here. And some chopped basil". We have tried several of the recipes, my husband and I, and have found them delicious....with a few extra herbs. Starting out easy in a cooking career is the best way to learn and our girls love the book.

Title: Good recipes, quick meals
Review: I've cooked many recipes out of this book and they were all easy to make, quick and tasty. The one thing I dislike about the chicken recipes is that many of them start off with a store bought 'roasted chicken'. The book contains many glossy pictures of the food, it is quite satisfying to look at the dish you made and see that it looks just like the picture. This is really a collection of recipes, not a instructional cookbook. I also wish that the nutritional information was on the same page as the recipe rather than in the back of the book.

Title: LOVE IT!
Review: I have made a few recipes in this book and so far all of them are great! Great for beginners like me. The Pork and Asparagus recipe is amazing! My husband loves everything I've cooked so far from this book. I love this cook book and it's so easy to make all of the recipes. The instructions are also easy to follow. Buy this book, you will not regret it. (In my opinion!)

Title: Cookin' made easy
Review: My wife bought a copy of this great book since she had enjoyed a couple of the recipes that showed up in the Real Simple magazine. As soon as she got her copy and leafed through it, in went the order for 4 more copies to give as presents. Good food, that actually takes longer to eat than cook. You won't be disappointed with the real simple instructions, pictures and results!!
