Title: Poorly transcription, very very poor.
Review: I bought this product and Plaud Note mainly for transcribing lectures for my college. Today, I tried it with a YouTube Calculus 1 video first, and the transcription was insanely inaccurate. I don't understand how YouTubers reviewing this product say it doesn't make many mistakes. Even though the instructor spoke with a formal American accent, the transcription was full of errors.Comparing it to Plaud Note, which has a $159 price tag, Plaud Note does have hidden subscription fees: $79 a year for 1200 minutes and $89 for a 6000-minute transcription quota. While it's expensive, it's still slightly cheaper than other AI transcription apps.I bought iFlytek because I was amazed by its ability to transcribe instantly offline without hidden fees. Unfortunately, it still needs significant improvement. I wish I could get all my money back because I feel scammed!Additionally, the iFlytek microphone is physically larger than the Plaud Note, leading everyone to assume it would have better audio quality, but it doesn't. The Plaud actually sounds a lot better.I compared the transcriptions from both Plaud Note and the iFlytek SR302 Pro to the official YouTube transcript provided by the YouTuber and used ChatGPT to calculate the accuracy percentage for iFlytek. It ended up being only 47.37%. I can't keep a product that transcribes less than half the words correctly. If this product can't transcribe accurate text, why would anyone buy it? The ability to transcribe text without internet and additional fees was attractive, but it's not as described. I truly hope this company can develop a better version. If they can improve their accuracy, this could certainly become a killer product! By the way, the OS and Android system and the hardware, except for the microphone, are really good and very smooth.New edit 8/27/24 AI transcribe softwares are cheaper than Plaud AI. I use Notta for 199$ a year for unlimited transcribe minutes with a 80$ Sony mp3 recorder. There are many AI software you can choose now.

Title: An Essential Tool for Students and Professionals Alike!
Review: The 2-inch touch screen is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through recordings without any hassle. I particularly love the playback feature, which allows me to listen to specific sections of a lecture without having to fast-forward through the entire recording. The sound quality is excellent; every word is crystal clear, and I can easily understand everything during playback, even in larger lecture halls.Another standout feature is the transcription capability. The device converts my recordings into text, saving me hours of note-taking! It's incredibly accurate and has helped me focus more on understanding the material during lectures, rather than furiously scribbling notes.

Review: My job demands extremely tight information security. I checked out all the voice recorders on Amazon, and most require an internet connection.First, I tried Plaud Note, an online recorder that promises data encryption and only processes data with permission. But it's a hassleâyou have to download an app to use it.Then, I opted for an iFLYTEK recorder. Unlike Plaud, iFLYTEK works offline, with one-click recording and a touchscreen that's just right for me.However, both iFLYTEK and Plaud struggle with transcribing some professional terms. I've tried many online apps before, but none of them have been satisfactory.Considering iFLYTEK's higher price, I expect better transcription accuracy. They really need to improve in this area. While online recorders like Plaud Note offer more features, iFLYTEK's offline setup nails my security needs, so I'm sticking with it.I'll continue using it for a while and come back with an updated review.

Review: I was finding a device could really boost my efficiencyI bought another smart recording device from iFlytek, a professional brand I'd heard of before.I found some awesome features like real-time transcription also you can mark key points during playback, which really speeds up meetings.Although it cannot translate 100% correctly, the accuracy is still acceptable.Plus, the sound quality is really solid.I'd recommend it if you need to summarize recordings, but it's a bit on the pricey side.

Review: If it's not compatable on a Mac you can't use it. It gives a link for how to deal with Mac but the link is obsolete. There are no general instructions on how to transfer this to Mac using any other transfer tool.

Review: This voice recorder has excellent recording performance, especially for speeches and interviews. It has 32GB of storage, with around 22GB available for recording. It can handle up to 175 hours of recording. After recording a two-hour meeting, the battery still had about 80% remaining. So, I think it can be used continuously for around 10-12 hours as advertised. The standby power consumption is relatively high, and it might be better to configure it to power off in shorter duration to conserve battery life. The main feature of the recorder is the ability of standalone voice recognition without connecting to online server. The recorder automatically generate docx file of the transcribed text based on the recording. This is very appealing, but the generated text in English conversations is often difficult to understand unless corrected by listening to the recorded data. The recorder can correctly capture 80-90% of words in English, but the output text is not always coherent. It especially struggles with names and technical terms. The recorder cannot distinguish between multiple speakers, and it is especially confusing when recording group conversations. The device supports Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, and many dialects), Japanese, Korean, and Russian. If you also need it for East Asian languages, this recorder should be a great device. It performs relatively well with Chinese and Korean. Japanese recognition is accurate for news reports and speeches but less so for conversational language, often mishandling interjections and colloquial expressions.

Customers like the transcription capability, audio quality, and ease of use of the voice recorder. They mention it records crystal-clear audio, filters out non-voice sounds, and is easy to navigate through recordings. Some also say it significantly reduces their post-lecture workload and makes everything more efficient.
