Title: A viable alternative to live worms, and much more convenient
Review: I've had good luck catching trout (and one catfish) with these Gulp Earthworms (brown). Whether or not they are better or as good as live worms is arguable. But they're good enough for me to swear off live worms. These are less messy, stay on a hook better, and are always available in my tackle box. Easy to pinch off a piece any length you want. A few caveats:1)These are sized like normal earthworms, definitely smaller diameter than night crawlers.2)They are kind of stiff with molded-in shape so they won't wiggle as freely as say a Berkeley trout worm. 3)They aren't very rubbery or stretchy. Fish can bite off a loose end waving in the water. Just not as easily as they can steal a real worm.4)Out of the jar they certainly do stink in a way that fish like. But I also add some ProCure night crawler gel scent, which I think makes them even more effective.

Title: Works as good as real worms
Review: The fish think theyâre real worms- I catch just as many with this as with live bait.

Title: The panfish loved it.
Review: I waited to write this review until I had fished with the Berkley red worms for a few weeks. The texture of these worms is very realistic. They have a scent that panfish seem to like. They get all curled with each other in the jar, and have a very natural curled look on the hook. Fish love it.I have some tiny spinners I like to use, and will easily split the works with my finger nail to get just the right amount to add color and scent to my spinners. Went out yesterday morning for a little over an hour and caught 15 crappie in an I've fished pond in a nearby public Park. If they work there, they will work anywhere.

Title: Small but effective
Review: Pros: Fish love them. They go at it right away. They stink and have the right color to them. You can throw them in your tackle box/bag and bring them anywhere without worrying about drying out.Cons: They're very thin. Hard to get on a hook and rip off easily. You have to put them through the hook multiple times to stay on for multiple casts. If you aren't fishing for Bluegill you'll have to make sure there aren't any nearby, cause they'll easiliy pull these off. They need a thicker version. This would easily be 5 stars if they were thicker.

Title: Worthless
Review: I had a worm in the water for hours with fish all around and no bites. So I took the worm off the hook and threw it in the water and a small fish ate it and immediately spit it out!!!

Customers say
Customers like the functionality and appearance of the fishing hooks. They mention that it works just as well as live worms, has an earthworm look and feel, and is durable. However, some dislike that they're wasted. Opinions are mixed on the bait quality, size, bite rate, and how well it stays on the hook.
