Title: Works very well!
Review: The machine works as advertised. I wanted to reduce and stop buying bleached flour for our family's health, so I bought the grinder and then purchased this motor as my Christmas gift. I'm glad I did! I opted for a used one marked as 'like new,' saving $20 on this product. The motor comes with a 5-year warranty, which is awesome. I also appreciate the company's excellent customer service; they were very helpful when I reached out previously. I feel confident that if I need assistance in the future, the company will be supportive. I highly recommend getting a motor for your mill grinder because milling by hand is not an easy job!P.S. Note that you need to twist the motor attachment slightly to fit the grind mill arm attachment. It took me a moment to realize that.

Title: Save time and arm strain buy this motor!
Review: Super easy to install and use! I use my good mill several times during the year. I use 3-4 bushels of apples to make my jellies in late fall. I run all the apples through the food mill after I have extracted the juice from them for jelly making. This results in the most delicious apple sauce with no sugar added. I did not want to hand crank 4 bushels of apples through my food mill again this year, so I took the ridicule that I had to endure from my wife and bought the motor. I even bought one for a gift for my sister-in-law.

Title: Easy to use
Review: This is for the Victorio Food Strainer and grinder. Easy to attach the motor to the strainer. It does move and wobble when using. I initially thought I had not installed it properly, but then noticed a review that mentioned this after I had already purchased it. The instruction manual has a cautionary note about “resting” the motor when using the grinder. The piece that attaches the motor to the strainer is plastic and not metal so I am concerned this will be the part that eventually breaks. The motor really spreads up the process and makes processing items easier and quicker. Found it is better to cut up the fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces as they feed through the strainer easier and doesn’t tax the motor. The Strainer works great and gets 5 stars. The motor has worked fine for me for making tomato sauce and applesauce. I gave it 4 stars only because of the plastic holder.

Title: Slow but reliable
Review: I've had the grain mill that this attaches to for a few years and finally got tired of using it by hand (especially during the summer I'll work up a sweat just grinding enough for a single loaf of bread). This makes it as easy as flipping a switch.Important note: I may not be the normal target market for home grain mills (I'm an able-bodied 30-something year old dude who just happens to like rustic baking), but I can grind grain by hand way faster than this thing does. If you need to grind a lot and don't care about having the option of doing it by hand, you may very well be better off getting a standalone mill that has a motor integrated into it. For me, this was the cheapest reliable option as I already had the mill, and I can just set it to run while I'm doing dishes or whatever so the time it takes doesn't bother me.

Title: Makes it easy!
Review: Did 1 batch (14 quarts) of applesauce by hand....and immediately ordered this motor. The next 2 batches with motor was much easier! Well worth the price.Bob

Title: Does one Tablespoon at a time - should be zero stars
Review: It grinds one Tablespoon at a time, and then it stops. I have to wait a bit for something to click, and then reset it to get another Tablespoon. I'm using both hard and soft wheat berries, so nothing weird. The seller seemed nice enough, but sent me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer said that I was grinding too fine, which made it hard on the motor. At the exact same grind, it isn't that hard to hand-crank. The manufacturer then went silent so I'm using Amazon returns.

Review: The best way to mill grains without overheating motor ,is to be certain to use DRY grains, that means before milling, you should dry grains in oven till is dry to the touch and crusty.Choice is yours.Jaroslav

Review: The motor fits well on the vkp grain mill and does what it is supposed to do. Here is the but... the grain mill holds 4cups or so of grain. I am using it for Canadian hard winter red wheat, About 2-2.5 cups into the milling the motor overheats causing the integrated breaker to trip. Wait for 15 min for it to cool and continue. I have done mostly smaller amounts (less than 2 cups) and no issue. the couple times filling hopper and making motor run for longer is the when it happens. As this is the only motor i was able to find that fits the grain mill there is no other option that i could find.

Review: Bought this motor for my wife's birthday. First time we used it it broke. And it just happened to be a day after the return window. I don't like how once the return window is closed you are out of luck. How do you return a faulty product? Apple sauce still tasted great though.

Review: I purchased the manual mill to text how committed I will be at milling my own grains with the intention of purchasing the electric attachment.I am very happy with the performance, and the fact that I can carry on with other aspects of my baking while the machine does its thing. It is a bit loud though but that's ok for me considering how portable and versatile it is - going from manual to electric- there aren't many in the market with those options. I recommend it 👌UPDATE:It has been almost four months now since my review. I've had nothing but problems with this product, from the consistency of the flour changing from fine to a mixture of some grits and fine right in the middle of milling to motor overheating when I fill the hopper up to its max of four cups of grains.Today being Jun 15th nearly four months since purchase, the motor started overheating and tripping the in-built safety breaker! I have stopped the milling process four times now, just trying to mill two cups of red hard wheat!I contacted their customer a few months ago when the product stopped working, and was told to ship it to them at my expense. Though they claimed that it has 5 years warranty, I didn't realize that shipping would be on me, especially after only using it a few times before it started having problems. Somehow, after allowing the machine to cool off it started running again but I had to live with it as is because I wasn't going to pay to mail back a milling machine and its motor attachment - can you imagine how much it will cost me? I regret making this purchase, altogether the cost of the manual hand crank and the motor would have brought me closer to purchasing one of those other electric millers. we learn as we go. Please learn from my mistake!!

Review: Wow, this saves me a LOT of hand cranking. Why does the motor squeak so loud like it doesn't have grease? Its not really that loud, but is annoying for a device that could easily have had a smooth bearing. No problem with overheating. I suspect the one review about overheating was caused by tightening the grind much too tight. Find the grind level with the hand crank first, then attach the motor. It clips on very easily and stays secure.
