Review: I found this book in Valencia, Spain in a shop called Blackbird. They are one of the contributors. As a retired baker myself I have to say that this is a beautiful and exciting book. There are so many things I want to try, and honestly, I typically donât get so excited about baking books. The recipes are innovative from some of the best bakers in the world, and mouthwatering!

Review: I was sent a copy of this book from the Publisher. Normally I would interview the author, but I was told that this was not possible. I quickly scoured the book devouring the many delicious recipes and excellent Food Photos.Knead Peace is a cookbook that was created to raise money for Ukraine. It is a collection of recipes from bakers all over Europe, and all of the proceeds from the book will go to help the people of Ukraine.The book is edited by Andrew Green, who is a well-known food writer and photographer. Green has done a wonderful job of putting together this collection of recipes. The recipes are all easy to follow, and they are all delicious.There is a wide variety of recipes in Knead Peace, so there is something for everyone. There are sweet recipes, savory recipes, and even gluten-free recipes. Whether you are a beginner baker or a seasoned pro, you are sure to find something to enjoy in this book.In addition to the recipes, Knead Peace also includes a foreword by Anna Makievska, the owner of The Bakehouse Kyiv. Makievska's story is inspiring, and it is a reminder of the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people.Knead Peace is a beautiful cookbook that is both delicious and meaningful. Review: These bakers really came through on this book. I was expecting a few good recipes here and there but there are so many good ones to try. Lots of sourdoughs and some really cool unique and new recipes here. I was worried they would be like a 'greatest hits' but I think the bakers came up with something new for this. Usually I wait to make something to review but I shall return if the recipes fails.Made the Beetroot Sourdough. The flavour was wonderful but the yield was two tiny loaves. I usually make Tartine sourdough and get 2 big loaves but that recipe uses 1000g flour where this one about 550. Rule of thumb- 500g flour is only enough for 1 loaf which is what I will do next time. Either make one loaf or double the recipe. I will also use the Tartine proofing/shaping and baking method. I really do love the flavour though.

Review: I got this yesterday and found it to be an excellent buy. It covers a wide variety of baked goods and although the recipes range from complex sourdoughs to simple cookies, everything is so well explained that it makes me feel I could tackle everything, and the recipes certainly are tempting. It is fascinating to read about the professionals who contributed to the book. After reading the recipe, I found myself turning to the comprehensive biographies at the back and learning such a lot about the baking world. It is a beautiful book to look at. The layout and photography are superb. Above all, though, it is a book with a big heart and you can feel the love and empathy that brought it to life. Importantly, it is practical book to bake from, and I am very glad to add it to my collection...it will be well-thumbed in no time!
