Title: Compact and effective
Review: I'm an Internet Engineer, and I've been building infrastructure for media companies for nearly 25 years. I know firsthand that companies don't care about your data as much as they care about saving money, so protecting yourself is up to you.Google issued hardware keys like this one to all of their employees, and after doing so, they were immune to phishing attacks. If you want to be sure that the hackers behind the next data breach can't access your accounts even if they get your password, then a U2F key is the way to go.U2F keys activate the "something you have" of two-factor authentication, complementing the "something you know." There are a number of ways to deliver 2FA - authenticator apps with one-time passwords, text messages or emails with codes in them, RSA-style dongles with the six digits that change every minute, or a U2F key like this. The nice thing about a U2F key is that it _complements_ another form of 2FA. If you don't have your phone with you or left your RSA dongle at home, having a U2F key on your keychain means you can still access your accounts, and vice versa. You can even activate multiple U2F keys, whereas sites only allow a single OTP or authenticator app.Always have a backup for important things.I set it up with Dropbox and Google Apps, and it only took a moment. This key is small enough to go unnoticed on my keyring, and I like that it folds to protect the USB connector. I have another key from a different vendor that doesn't offer protection for the connector, and I'm concerned about how long it will last, flopping around in my pocket. The key from Thetis feels solid, and I'm glad that I bought it.How small is it? I've added a couple of pictures to show you how it looks with a USB-C adaptor in my Mac, a pair of AirPods, and a standard folding-style USB flash drive. It's tiny.Support for U2F is new, but as more sites recognize that they can protect their users by enabling support for it, it will become more prevalent. I recommend that you pick one of these up and activate it everywhere that you can.

Title: The great price outweighs the cons (works with USB-C adapter too)
Review: I'm new to hardware security keys. Heck, I spent a whole day researching all about them because I was fascinated by the concept and security.I got my key about last week. It didn't work at first on my laptop for NameCheap.com, but I think the problem was with Opera's new browser called GX or how my Windows 10 is set up. Anyway, I tried it on my main desktop computer, and it worked right away with zero problems. Then tried again on the laptop by re-configuring my NameCheap settings. Works perfect now.I bought this Thetis key because of its price and high reviews. The cons? Well, the plastic doesn't seem very resistant, but for the price...what would we expect? It's resistant enough, I'd say. Also, it doesn't work universally as those overpriced Yubikeys, but these cost less than half the price of those. If you still plan on getting Yubikeys instead, do note that it is HIGHLY recommended to have at least TWO keys. Important services like Google, Dropbox, NameCheap, Bitwarden...these work with these keys. So you could get an expensive Yubikey plus a Thetis key for backup, if you really must. For me, Thetis is enough. I plan on having another one.ALSO! I used a USB-C adapter for my phone. My LG V20 phone first thought it was a keyboard, but after reinserting is, NameCheap.com immediately recognized it and I was able to log in.

Title: Once you try the FIDO U2F Security Key you wont want to use your Authenticator unless your on the go without your FIDO U2F key!
Review: RE: FIDO U2F Security Key, ThetisThis U2F key is the one to have laying on the desk in a small, horizontal usb hub, where it is thick enough so as to not wobble downward and stress it and the hub too. This key works great and flawlesslybtw; I put a Yubi UF2 Key that is setup for all the same accounts on my key ring, for portable needs, but at the office (in a secure environment) or at home this is the one to have on the desk in a four port hub because it's thick enough not to rock downward when pushed so it doesn't stress anything in the process of pushing the 2FA button downward. These U2F keys are vastly less of a hassle and much more simple and easy to use compared to Authenticator (2FA) and all it's competitors where one has to look up a code on their phone or tablet and then input that one time code into their PC for 2FA.These are also way more secure in many ways than Authenticator and it's competitors is while setting up such a thing, as well as relying on many servers at many companies not to be compromised are all security risks! As always have a backup key ready in case you lose your working key!Compared to using Authenticator with this I just push the button on this usb key and instantly your most secure 2FA type of method is done with this physical U2F usb key instead of say with Authenticator! It doesn't get any better than these for the highest 2FA security as long as you can control who has access to your usb FIDO U2F Security Key.Once you try the FIDO U2F Security Key you wont want to use your Authenticator unless your on the go without your FIDO U2F usb key! Leave Authenticator for a backup and use this at home and in the office, you will be glad you did just like me if you do!

Review: I used this yesterday and found it, that u needs to assigned with the security key for at least one time and then u r ready to go. However their is a high chances that u might loose the device. So for that purpose u need to have atleast one more Security key. That means a total of 2 security keys. Which i myself will do after a months time. But its very robust and fast and hassle free. Also i forgot to mention this key would work more efficiently if u r using a Chrome browser and not Firefox.I use Firefox mostly and quite an old version like v.90 on a 32bit machine. Also i will give my reviews after a months time. Again! So people if u want security, get this. It will not fail u. What an amazing device.--------------------------------------------xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx------------------------------------After a months usage: (My verdict)So this device does make passkey for at least 2 email ID. But cannot create a passkey for Outlook account.Because it needs Win10 to be installed for this usage.Which is still okay if yahoo & gmail works. So for home users this device works. But u still need another backup Key, just incase of emergency.I really see that this is gunna be a tough call for hackers as they wont be able to by pass the 2 factor verification, with the passkey. So get it before the seller increase there rate.I was waiting for it to go down and when it did, that was when i made another purchase.I am not going to spend more than Rs: 2500, anything above is too much.Who knows another security verification could be invented. As technology keep getting better and better.
