Title: This book truly is the best travel guide!
Review: I love this book! I live in the southwest corner of Arkansas and could literally be in Texas within the hour. I read this book and I found myself asking, “why haven’t I ever been there”? The author, Benjamin Dane, is from Texas and has obviously taken full advantage of traveling this vast state. His descriptions are so vivid, you can picture the landscape, become in awe of the architecture, smell the flowers and taste the food! All the things that excite the wanderlust in this homebody! He encourages you to delve into the legends, the history, the heritage and the uniqueness that makes Texas such a great destination. This book is perfect because it not only highlights the can’t miss places to visit, but it also provides maps of how to get there and reminders to pack that favorite sweater for your evening walk! This book is full of stunning surprises and doused with a healthy sprinkling of southern charm. So get your plan together, get packed up and I’ll see you there! I’ll be the one carrying this book as my guide!

Title: Not A Guide But A Texas Travel System!
Review: I love ghost towns. There is something poetic and haunting about a deserted city. The lives that have once been lived are no longer. In "The Best Texas Bucket List," there's an entire chapter devoted to some of the ghost towns of Texas. There are even suggested ghost town biking adventures in another chapter. This book is not your typical thin guide with a list of location sites but a 400-page journey through some of the state’s best-kept secrets. There’s everything for the outdoor adventurer, foodie, art aficionado, nature lover, traveler, and more. It uncovers the history, facts, climate, regions, and legends as the native author guides you through his state. There are fantastic full-color images, additional links, maps, and an interactive website to map out my trip so I don’t miss anything! I love the visually stunning website as it expands the book with videos, galleries, mapping, diagrams, and a travel journal.

Title: Whether you are visiting or live in TX, this is great
Review: I knew there was a lot in Texas, but even I was dumbfounded just how much there was, especially of the natural beauty (look a crystal clear blue hole.) Whether you love food, community gatherings, natural places, mysterious places, or more, Texas has it, and this book brings it out.There are a lot of beautiful pictures throughout the book. I got really intrigued with the 'ghost towns'.In addition to the pics and narrative, there are also links, such as to interactive maps, that the reader can access.Highly recommended.

Title: Great Guide to Texas!
Review: Wow! Texas has a lot to offer! I've been thinking about visiting there for a long time, but wasn't sure where to start. This book really helped with that. Texas truly has something for everyone. My favorite sections were the ones guiding me where to pick fresh berries, and where to find great hikes, as those are some of my favorite things to do. I also found some good info on the music scene, which sounds amazing. I was definitely appreciative for some tips on where to find some great barbeque, as that's a must do for me when I get to visit! Great read, very helpful!
