Title: A Very Positive Review I Didn't Expect to be Writing... and a Green Yak in the washing machine
Review: I had gotten these for one purpose only - to use with handwashing. Roll the sweater in a white towel, put it out to dry on my new super-duper drying rack. Simple. Nothing special required, no expectations other than basic cotton towels. Cheap. White. Who cares, right? So imagine my surprise when these turned out to be nicer than expected - so much so, in fact, that they got promoted to potential shower towel, and then that worked out so well, I'm now using them daily. I've dumped my much thicker and not wearing well Turkish towels, and they got the new handwashing gig. I'll be using these for showering to see how they hold up, but a few weeks in, a few washes behind them, and they're worthy of a positive review.UPDATED TO ADD: I decided to get the green ones since they were on super sale. Same towel, should be as good, and I don't use towels for bathroom decor, so I don't care (as much) about what color they are (I don't do dark towels ever - many reasons). I'd describe the green as a grey-green, not unpleasant, but if you do care about the color, be aware that these are nothing close to a warm green. It also darkened a bit after washing, go figure, and it definitely needed to be washed before use.The biggest issue with these latest towels is the amount of shedding from one gentle soak (to get rid of odor) and then a gentle wash. Yowza! It looked like someone washed a green yak in there. The white towels didn't shed at all this way, so I was totally unprepared for my newest washer pet. I had stupidly added some other small pieces in with the towels. BIG MISTAKE. Now they're covered in what looks like green yak fur, too. The towels did come out just as fluffy and usable as the white ones, so not changing the rating, but caveat emptor - expect shedding, wash these alone at least once, and do NOT wash them with anything else.

Title: not white, not like former amazon basics hand towels
Review: i have bought this brand of hand towels before and was delighted. not this time. the cloth feels loosely woven. what i expected to be crisp white towels turned out to be blue-grey-ish, as if someone had run them in a washer load with dark jeans. i tried bleaching them which helped, but they are still not really white and they feel flimsy. i am disappointed, especially because the same brand hand towel was so good in the past.

Review: I use them at the gym and it's a nice size and soft feel. They measure about 11 3/4 X 11 3/4 when new, and shrank under very a high dryer temp to 11 X 11 inches. Typical of cotton products. I actually wanted the shrinkage since I keep them in my pocket at the gym.

Review: I bought this pack of washcloths to use for either my doggies, or for my mosaic making, which needs a soft, lint free cloth for buffing grout. I thought they might be cheaply made and not hold up after one use, but they are sturdy enough and wash well. A good buy!

Review: DO NOT go by GSMs here.Used to chop and change towels all the time. All that has stopped since I started using these. Have ordered these towels repeatedly now.1) The dimensions are huge. There is a debate on whether this is a bath towel / bath sheet. Ignore that debate. The towel does what you want it to do, which is to make you dry.2) And it is par excellence when it comes to drying you. The water absorbency is phenomenal. And it is genuinely usable from both sides. Most towels I’ve used get become unusable from the other side after one side gets soaked from use. Not this one.I like white towels, and haven’t ordered the Solimo towels because they are never available in white. But I’ve used most of the other towels that are rated 4+ on Amazon and these are by far the best.
