Title: Perfect for a typical passenger sedan in a cold climate
Review: Absolutely love this. It works great, just plug it in and leave it for a couple of hours and presto!, your battery has enough charge to start your car. Small, portable, easy to use with a typical household electrical outlet. I think the only downside to this is that it worked so well at recharging my dying car battery that I ended up keeping the old battery too long. My advice: this is great to use once in a while, on, say, a very cold day or when you haven't driven your car for weeks, but if you find you use it often, it's a sign that you should replace your battery.

Title: Revived my battery
Review: I bought a used 2022 Honda Ridgeline with ~7,000 miles on it some months back. It was a "dealer demo car" and was well-maintained as a result. Now, it's got around 12,000 miles on it.One day, I left the lights on too long with the ignition off, and had the radio playing. Stupid on my part, but my battery didn't have enough charge to deliver the amps needed to turn the engine over. I bought a Noco GB40, and it worked well - it'd start my truck when needed. Yesterday, it didn't. I guess the battery had degraded too much, so I was shopping for new batteries when the sticker shock hit me. Given the age of my truck, I thought it would be silly to replace the battery.Someone recommended the Noco Genius5, so I gave it a shot. Amazon's same-day delivery got it to me quickly, and I basically hooked it up to the battery, plugged it in, set it to AGM mode, and let it go to work. I waited several hours for the charger light to show "solid green", indicating it was fully charged. I started up my truck; it sounded better than the day I bought it. However, on the dash, it had a note about an "emissions problem". My scan tool showed a permanent code with the Transmission Control Module and a bunch of other temporary codes. Since I didn't have any codes before, I figured I may have freaked out the electronics by charging the battery while the battery was hooked up to the truck, or maybe by touching the terminals out of sequence when removing the cables. Either way, I removed the battery from my truck, hooked up the Genius5, and set it to "repair mode".My truck had low mileage when I bought it, at about a year old, which likely meant that it say for a while when not in use. Maybe that could have led to sulfation or stratification, which could have meant it wouldn't charge as effectively from the alternator. I also wanted to remove the battery to allow the computers to reset in the truck. If it was still throwing codes after that, I'd bring it into the dealer.This morning, when I woke up, I noticed the Genius5 was in standby mode, meaning the repair mode had finished. I started the Genius5 back up, and set it to AGM mode again -- it took about a minute, but it said the battery was good to go with a solid green light. I Installed the battery back in my truck, fired it up, and I kid you not, it sounded better than ever -- less strained, more powerful, and all of the codes were gone. My truck had a freakout -- not due to this device, I'm sure, but likely due to me doing something stupid.It's rare for me to review a product so quickly. This thing is amazing, has lots of neat accessories available for it, and saved me money. I'll continue using it to prolong my batteries and save me money in the long-run.If you're on the fence, this little device is absolutely legit. 10/10 would recommend.

Review: I purchased it for two reasons: 5A output to charge most common batteries and an AGM charge mode. It is compact and sealed unlike my existing 1.5A unit and has longer than expected cables. With 5A it can charge and get into maintain mode quickly. It has nice LEDs for charge status.Some say it gets a little hot (not to me) but in any case that is what you get with 5A output.When in maintenance mode the voltage would drop below 12.5v before it began another top off cycle. I was thinking it would be narrower but noco said normal.

Review: I've had this item for 2 years now. And I have to say it is one of the best purchases I've made.Background: I have a older car, that's kept outside here in toronto, The winter's here can be pretty bad. My car battery is not the greatest, and I found my battery was always draining. Constantly needed a jump. I looked at the big suitcase backpack looking ones, that CAA uses, then I saw this tiny noco. I'm glad I took the risk, it's paid for itself many times.Pros: it works. It's boosted my car, when the battery was completely dead.-The safety feature, meaning the electrics won't flow, if it's on the wrong positive or negative, was nice for those times when I was in a rush not paying attention-my model had a boost mode, so when I would activate it, it would force start my battery.-very quick. I always feel a little less than human, with people judging me when I have to jumpstart my car, I'm sure nobody cares, but I still feel a bit inadequate. This jump starts my car almost immediately.-this thing is tiny, I keep it in my glove box, it does what those huge jumper boxes that the professionals have, but since technology is so fantastic, they're able to make it so small but so powerful-I'm really impressed with the charge, I charged it once and it lasted over a year, with monthly use. I did recharge it just to be safe at the end of the first year. But I probably could have left it and it would have worked fine, there is a battery indicator as well.Cons: When I pull it out to help strangers restart their car, they look at me a little bit crazy thinking this little item can help. Then they ask me, where they can get one minutes later :)Recommendation:If you're someone who needs to jumpstart their car regularly, this thing is a lifesaver.Not only am I able to jumpstart my car when I need it fast and safely, I was able to help other strangers, simply because there wasn't a lot to hook up. It's a small unit and putting it on someone else's car, and jumping it takes a few minutes. I would 100% buy it again.

Review: Don’t have experience with battery tenders/chargers, this is my first. But I can say very well built compact size. Intuitive setup.Using it to maintain my jeep wrangler AGM 70AH battery as I travel a lot don’t drive the car that much.Update:It has been amazing after few overnight charges the battery recuperated and seems to be back to its full swing. Starting the car now is seamless.
