Title: Works well for maintaining and testing out UPS batteries.
Review: While I haven't actually had an opportunity or need to use this with an automotive battery yet, it does quite nicely for both checking our and maintaining the 1280 SLAB 12V batteries that are used in most Uninterruptible Power Supplies, which I use a ton of. So far it has done quite nicely for charging them periodically while in storage and also for checking out ones that have been retired to see if they will still hold a charge, and many of them will actually show an error on the screen, which is a good confirmation that they are really and truly dead. I also have been meaning to try using it in pulse mode to see if it can revive some of the bad ones I've retired, but, as I likely wouldn't really trust them anyway, I haven't actually done this yet. Although a large percentage of the 12V SLAB's I use are AGM type, I can't tell any difference in charging speed or performance between this set on AGM mode or Motorcycle mode, and it seems to work the same for charging my batteries with both settings.So, while I can't judge its performance on car batteries, for use with basic SLAB's and small equipment batteries, it seems to work just fine!

Title: Reliable Charger for the Home Garage.
Review: After 40 years of dependability, my old charger finally gave up, and I needed to find a new one to maintain two motorcycle batteries. After some research, I came across this charger, which seemed promising, so I decided to give it a shot.The first test was on a bike that had been sitting idle since December 2023. Initially, the charger didn't seem to be working, so I switched it to "repair mode" to recondition the battery. It took a while, but eventually, the "Rep" indicator lit up, signaling a bad battery. I was skeptical since the battery was fairly new, installed in October 2023. However, after some testing, I found that it indeed had two bad cells.Once I replaced the battery and trickle-charged it with this charger, everything went smoothly, and I was back on the road. The charger performed well on other tasks too, such as quickly charging the low battery on my wife's car. The device ran cool, thanks to the onboard fan, and the digital display made it easy to monitor voltage and amperage in real-time.One of the standout features of this charger is its ability to detect ambient temperature and adjust the charging voltage accordingly, which is a great relief during the triple-digit temperatures we've been experiencing. The built-in voltage and current protection provide peace of mind, allowing me to walk away without worrying about potential issues.I also appreciate the versatility of this charger. It works with AGM, GEL, and SLA batteries, but I wish it had support for lithium-ion batteries, which are becoming more common. One minor drawback is the length of the leads. They're a bit short, so I often find myself placing the charger under the hood or on the fender of the vehicle. This could be fixed with some customization if necessary.Overall, for its price point, this charger is an excellent choice for the average homeowner. Title: Works better than my Walmart one at a similar price
Review: My stepdaughter has an older Ford Escape that experiences parasitic loss. That's a fancy way of saying something in the car is slowly draining the battery and we can't figure out what that is currently. She goes to school 1.5 hours from my house where all my tools are. She does drive on campus, but the car can sit for a week or two. Preventive maintenance 101 is that you have to drive a car every few days and get the speed up high enough to let the alternator charge up the battery. She hadn't quite figured all of that out, so I got her a jump starter and showed her boyfriend how this works. It does what we need it to. I had a cheapy Walmart one and this one works better. Overall, this one is a better value for the money.

Title: Did its job and charged my battery, fully automatic
Review: I tested this battery charger on my 12v battery that was 80% charged.Once connected, it gave me the battery temperature, cells that were being charged and detected the mode (winter / summer). It is fully automated and very little selection / interaction needed. It took nearly 1hour and 35 minutes to fully charge my battery from 80% to 100%.It didn’t detect any bad cell and I couldn’t test the repair mode but so far this charger performing great and well worth for the price.

Title: Nice charger
Review: I got this one to replace the an old 2amp SLA charger. This one has far more features than my old 2 amp charger and it also delivers much more power. It’s a great value and I would not hesitate to order it.

Title: Charged a dead battery at 12v in about 6 hours!
Review: This charger is great! Well made, kept itssellf cool in the garage during the 99degree weather outside and it charged a dead battery at 12v in about 6 hours! Set up was easy and screen was easy to read. Thankful to have this as it worked quite well!
