Title: Emergency power only. I
Review: I think it's important to stress that it is emergency only. At least that's what I experienced. It will only do a one time charge on 4 AA batteries. Use a regular charger and keep as emergencybackup charge. Love it for that if you don't have access to USB or electricity. Worked well in my situation, I would always have one on hand!

Title: Product Does Not Work
Review: I missed the return date for this. I bought it for emergencies, but when the emergency came, it stops charging on it's own and doesn't even charge my phone. I thought it was the batteries, so I changed out the batteries. Then it still did the same thing. Next, I switched out the charging cable and it still stopped charging on it's own before my phone was even charged. I wish I returned this right when I got it. I do not recommend this product at all.

Title: Important item for your emergency kit
Review: We live in coastal Florida and have an emergency kit in case of hurricane. However, we have found an emergency kit important on the west coast (fires and earthquakes) and in other places for tornados. One of the main items is a way to re-charge your phone if (when) the electricity goes out. With scores of these battery operated re-chargers available on Amazon.com, we noticed that most are intended to use for travel - so, plug it in, recharge, and throw into your carry-on luggage for temporary use when your phone loses its charge. Simple. However, our concern was in keeping our phones working for several days or more. Having electricity to re-charge the power bank would not be available. We kept looking and finally found this model that runs on four AA batteries. Bingo! Bought a large pack of AA batteries at Amazon.com (see photo) and now, if the power goes out, our phones will continue up to work limited only until we run out of AA batteries. Note. The connection going into the USB power bank is USB B. A power cord was not included. When ordering a power cord you will want USB B on one end and whatever connection goes into your phone on the other (see photo for what our iPhones use). Plenty of selection available at Amazon.com for all phones, but be sure to buy one that is your phone's brand or certified to work on your phone type, such as "certified to work on Apple iPhone," etc. or the cord likely will not work (I found out the hard way). Plusses: As long as I have AA batteries and a cell signal, I am in business (see photo). Small device packs easily (see photo of our pack ready for the hurricane kit). Minuses: None observed. Summary: Recommended.

Review: I really like the product to be available should our electricity go off or charging my phone while travelling.I like that it is safe to take on an airplane as well.

Title: Works but turns off often
Review: The charger does work, but it has randomly shut off on me during every use. The button is pressed, the batteries are full, and the light turns on but then unfortunately it does randomly stop charging my phone. Good for the price but not super convenient given the circumstances

Title: A bad design
Review: This is a bad design. The capacity of four fully charged AA NiMH batteries is exhausted in under five minutes and the charger will not transfer power after that. A proper design would use C, or preferably D, size batteries, and not AA size batteries. AA batteries are sorely not up to the task. This charger is useless.

Title: Would not recommend
Review: Charger doesn’t have enough power. It will shut off while charging. It works better if you turn off your phone while charging. Never got a full charge. Would not recommend
