Title: Similar to a very light duty string trimmer. Not a bargain unless bought on sale.
Review: Ought better to buy a 40V battery powered, regular size lawn mower. Take note, this is a cheap, Lite Duty, blade equipped trimmer for very small areas. The one I got is under powered. There is no powerful motor. It is not spinning at 20k RPM as per the ad, nor even the 18k RPM as per the pamphlet. More like 3k to 5k RPM unfettered. Probably not close to 800W. Lighter than a 20V drill motor. Flimsy build. No provision to lube anything, so no prolonging it's life.It is as lite weight as Wally mart's smallest battery powered hyper tough $65 string trimmer that comes with only one 2AH universal battery and handles the lightest 0.065 string. The motors of both weight the same. Hype and lies in this ad to trick you to buy. Proprietary fitted batteries to keep charged up all the time. Only the ad states an offering of 4AH batteries, nothing else. I was sent 3AH batteries and not 4AH batteries. Heavier than 2AH but lighter than 4AH batteries. I bet that is typical. Wheels that bolt to the motor housing. Competitors exist that use a wheel cradle frame which is definitely better. The round saw blade is carbide tipped (why?) but not stamped for safe use on a circular saw. No worries of over-speeding the round saw blade with this wimpy motor before the motor just burns out. Better to use the scythe blade. Better still to use the plastic blades at a higher speed if you can. There is no provision to hold a trimmer string.Comparing this to a Hyper tough string trimmer, here you get a non-universal second battery, wheels of a sort, a level trimming height and less dirt thrashing, but you are limited to use blades. Batteries in use don't last long nor do I get much of an area cut. I strongly urge everyone to add the wheels and safety guard before use. 1 year warranty from mfg. under normal use?
