Review: This book gives excellent guidance for beginner and experienced grillmeisters alike. From explaining the basics of charcoal and gas grilling (laying a firm foundation of knowledge)- to making sake chicken with a wasabi rub - to grilled peaches(!), Steven Raichlen has written a masterpiece of practical grilling instruction. His writing is straight-forward and conversational, and he will improve your skills - and repitoire of recipes - in no time. Why make mistakes and waste your time and money? Review: Soooo glad I ordered this book! Got a new Weber vertical poultry roaster for the grill (you have to buy one, worth the exorbitant price for the thing) combine it with this great book and voila - heaven in your grill! Bought one for a friend and ordering one for my son...go forth and purchase this and the Weber Poultry roaster and you will DINE TONITE!! (or when they come!) 🙂

Title: Good and easy bbq recipes
Review: A nice variety of rubs, sauces and techniques, for the beginner or the expert looking for something different. Not quite the beer can chicken I ate in Chicago, but a delicious start, and I have no fear of creating my own variations with some suggestions from the book.

Review: We love beer can chicken - it comes out with such moist meat, and a lovely skin, with loads of flavour and this is my go to recipe book for beer can chicken recipes. It is easy to use, with lots of recipes for various rubs, marinades, sauces, etc. I have used several of the rubs for other recipes too, like ribs and pork roasts.

Review: I first encountered beer can chicken in an article on Yahoo. I made it the next weekend, although I do not have a barbeque I just did it in the oven. This is perfectly acceptable, whatever the purists may say. Good recipes, on the down side it is very very American, but a great book to own
