For best results, follow these instructions: 1) Preheat grill. 2) Fill a small container with water to dip the brush frequently while brushing. This creates a steam cleaning effect when the wet brush touches the hot grill for deep cleaning. 3) Work in square sections defined by horizontal grates. Do not glide over horizontal grates as with a wire brush. 4) Angle the brush slightly backward for a deeper clean, depending on the diameter of your grill grates.

Title: As good as everyone says
Review: Had to buy a new grill brush as my old ones were very worn out. Decided to try the Kona style with the coiled bristles. Seemed to make sense. Bought two as I normally wear one out every summer. These are nice brushes. Very sturdy, well constructed. Long handle so you don’t have your hand over the hot grill. Clean very well. My old brush was a normal bristle brush and it was worn out. But, I was still surprised how well this brush cleaned the grill. It seems to get cleaner each time I use this brush. I do dip it in water as recommended. And always with the grill hot. It does take a bit of “elbow grease”, but I think that is normal when cleaning a grill. Works well. I think one brush may last beyond the summer, but nice to have a spare. Would recommend and will buy again.

Title: Probably better for some grills than others.
Review: I have a Weber Genesis gas grill. The racks are the round type, although heavy gauge. This seems to clean better than most. My main gripe with everything I have bought in the past is that they wear out so fast. This looks like it will last much longer and provide good value for the money. You don't know if you don't try. I can see how it might not work as well on cast iron grates; especially the undersides. I am specifically thinking of my old Hibachi type grill.

Title: Everyone who received one of these from me, wants more for their friends.
Review: This cleans an out door grill effectively of food and burnt particles. I read that this was a good one. I don't grill. The feed back has been outstanding, like it takes the particles off so the grill is ready to use again with out breaking it down and washing it. This was a winner.

Title: Large and bulky
Review: Not as effective as the videos show. Not sure it's a good buy. Have used it according to instructions and YouTube videos, but it doesn't clean as well as they suggest. I have a brand new expensive gas grill and wanted to make sure I kept it in pristine condition. Will probably buy another type of scraper/brush to add to this one as it just doesn't fulfil its desired function.

Review: This grill brush works well to remove residual food and residue from the grill. It is made of durable material and is holding up well. Definitely recommend. this brush reduces/eliminates risk of accidentally ingesting a small wire brush fragment which can occur with older standard type grill brushes.

Title: Excellent, safe brush
Review: This is an excellent—and safe—grill brush. Yes, it takes a little extra effort, but over time, the brush becomes a little more malleable and fits into the grates better. We had a well-seasoned one and lost it in a move. I just replaced it with a new one, and I can tell the difference. It's like they get 'seasoned.' You get the best results when you clean right after grilling—using a bowl of water to dip the brush in. There are no bristles.

Review: Very stout built. Doesn't get into the grooves and cracks well, but it does makes short work of the actual grilling surface. Takes a bit of cleaning when done, but I use it, I like it.

Review: So I bought one of the Kona Safe/Clean Grill Brush and let me say this and I mean it "WOW" This brush works extremely well when you follow the instructions. They are plain and simple very easy to follow. You allow the water on the brush to do most of the work. I am very satisfied with the brush and would highly recommend it to anyone who hates finding potentially life threatening bristles in their food.
