Title: Awesome Beach Cart
Review: This is our 2nd Rio Beach cart and I have high hopes! Our first was purchased 10 years ago and while still in working order, it's taken a beating over the years and the time was right to replace it. I was so pleased with the longevity, convenience, and portability of the first cart, I was definitely looking to get the same again. The cart arrived packaged tight with some minor assembly required. It took all of 3 minutes to install the wheels and no tools are required so needless to say, initial setup was a breeze. They made a few changes to the updated cart which I will point out in this review. First are the wheels - previous versions were rubberized 2.5 inch wide wheels in the back which worked fine albeit a bit more difficult to pull through sand. These are now much wider hard plastic wheels which admittedly, I've yet to use but have seen them in use on beaches and it looks much easier to pull. The front wheels remain as before and pivot 360 degrees. This is very convenient when rolling through a hotel / boardwalk as the cart handles like a child's stroller. Folding and unfolding is a breeze with spring-loaded handles on the sides that simply click on knobs when open for a VERY secure tight fit. Once open you have storage on the bottom under the mesh lining as well as the mesh portion itself. We typically put our heavy beach bag/cooler under the mesh bag and any other bags etch in the mesh bag resting on the cooler/bags. Depending on what you are used to, this could be a pro or a con. The new cart comes with a tough removable 'beach bag' now that simply rests on grommets in the handle. This bad is that it takes up some space from the mesh compartment. For example, we used to be able to fit a 42" boogie board in the mesh compartment on an angle but that will no longer be the case. That being said, I really like the bag and it's multiple pockets. It can easily stay on the cart or be taken off and ultimately, I think I will like this feature more. The second addition is the side strap and pocket for umbrellas. Personally, we don't use this but it's definitely a nice addition. A shovel can easily be strapped in or any other similar shaped beach tool you are looking to bring. We have two very large beach chairs which include footrests and pillows and they easily fit on the end bar and carry very well when pulling on the beach. If you go often, I absolutely would recommend this cart!

Title: SO worth it!
Review: So I had one if these when my children were small and it went to the Jersey shore summer after summer without fail. I lost it in a big move:(And didnât think Iâd need a replacement. Well, after only one hot day of lugging the stuff from a parking lot, over the boardwalk and across hot sand, I quickly renmbered how much easier it is with the wheeler! Yes, you do have exert a little effort to pull it backwards (big wheels in back) across the soft sand , but itâs do-able and hands down is 100% easier than trying to maneuver 3 chairs, 2 full beach bags, 2 boogie boards, a soft cooler and a large umbrella home after a beautiful day at the beach! And yep, it carried all that ! Pretty painlessly!! So unless you have a bunch of extra hands willing to haul gear to and fro the beach, make things easier on your back and neck and shoulders and just get the cart. Iâm glad I did. I was a little hesitant maybe thinking that it wasnât worth it to purchase another or that the quality might be less than before, but itâs all good! ðð» maybe even better than the first one! Or maybe Iâm just older and appreciate anything that can help the moment be more enjoyable instead of more work. ð anyway, itâs kinda like a stroller, a little awkward sometimes but so worth it in the end! when everyone is tired and you have a lighter load thatâs easier to transport. Itâs pretty lightweight for the ratio of stuff it carried, folds easily, and imo is worth the space it takes - I lay it on top of all the other gear so it can come out first, unfold and start the offloading! The back tires are fairly large (like a2qt saucepan), but if you needed to, I think you would be able to remove them (secured w/a cotter pin) but I just pack accordingly. Iâm not sorry I replaced mine and if it lasts like my old one did, then itâll be well worth the purchase!

Title: Pretty awesome!!
Review: I will try to provide detail and hope this helps others in making a decision. So I purchased this for all the same reasons as you. Need something to carry all my stuff with ease over SOFT sand rather than carrying everything and having multiple trips.QUALITYNo bad, "seems" sturdy enough. Made of aluminum. Quite light. The mesh bag is a nice thick laundry net. The removable tote bag is kinda cheesy but it does have metal holes to handle weight that attach to the bars. the bottom of the bag has a solid liner as well to prevent "drooping" which I personally like. There is also a "swivel" bar on one side of where the bag hangs so you can "close" the bag and prevent sand from getting in there provided you remember to bring over the "flap". The wheels are made of plastic. So rolling on concrete will be noisy like a child's plastic car. The bottom most is made of only cloth, so like some of the other comments, yes you will have to place a solid piece of plastic if you intend to bring a cooler. And the space available for the bottom, most likely a small cooler only. this will "shorten" the "hamper" and will sit on top of the cooler. So make sure your cooler has a solid top. the handle bars have a nice thick rubber that go all the way to the corners to prevent callousing your hands. Only time will tell how long it all holds up.EASE OF USESo I placed a "hefty" amount on this cart and wow, was I amazed. I placed all the things listed below.2 table-in-a-bag,1 tent,1 umbrella,2 chairs,2 long loungers,my purse,1 gallon water bottle,2 wetsuits,3 towels,2 vons large sandwiches1 zippered comforter and a6'2" surfboard.Let me tell you. This thing works wonders. Take note that I strapped my surfboard with elastic bands to keep it in place. laying flat on top from handle to over where the chairs hang. This thing was weightless on concrete but as soon as I hit that soft sand I was already preparing my muscles to drag the thing. SURPRISE! It didn't!! It actually made PULLING all that so much easier than my old style using the all terrain radio flyer. Waaaay different. I realized all the negative reviews was because it was all OPERATOR ERROR!! You're supposed to lift the front wheels and PULL on the large wheels only. There was a little struggle, but I mean, look at the amount of stuff I placed! So, the more weight, the "heavier" it will be to pull. Common sense right? If you have only a few things, then it's a super breeze for soft sand. I highly recommend this product.CONSOther comments of where the umbrella goes does hit the wheel making it harder to turn. So my solution was simply get the bottom of the bag on the inside and tying it off with a rubber band very tightly making it shorter so it no longer hits the wheel. Problem solved. Folding is also a slight hassle because of the wheels. You can only fold it one way, since the front wheels swivel, it's a slight hassle but definitely no biggy. As for another reviewer saying it's awkward standing by the handle and reaching all the way to pull the bar back in position, uh, well, how's about walking to the side and lifting from there? LOL no offense. When hanging the chairs, yes, it will lean onto the mesh bag providing less space. So after experimenting, the more chairs you hang, the less space you will have for the mesh bag. The less chairs, the more the mesh bag can carry. In my personal experience, I was able to hang Wal-Mart brand foldable loungers and chairs, and I can definitely hang 5 of them. If I were to pack the mesh bag, then probably only 2 chairs, 3 at most. Also, like a baby stroller, make sure to fill the mesh bag or hang the chairs first before placing anything heavy on the handle side. It will tip over towards you. And, it's a runaway because there are no breaks like another reviewer mentioned. So pay attention where you leave it unattended.OVERALL IMPRESSIONthis thing is awesome. I wonder why I never got one sooner. It really makes a world of difference. Please get one. I do agree that it seems overpriced, but hey, if it holds out all summer and hopefully a few seasons, (we are weekend warriors and also surf throughout winter here in San Diego) then money well spent. The reason I gave it four stars is because of 1 - the umbrella issue, 2 - plastic wheels, (could've been rubber to be more quiet), 3 - there are no breaks to prevent it from rolling away on a hill, and 4 - a soft bottom. But note, it's because of how the stroller folds which explains the soft bottom. That's where it "bends". Trust me, you won't regret this. Get one and it will make your beach life soooo much easier!

Review: Rio Beach Wonder Wheeler Wide Beach Cart Was included at the house rented in Wildwood and ordered one right away when back home: fantastic to carry all the stuff from the car to the beach. I intend to use it at home for groceries, camping material, etc.
