Title: Fantastic Beach Tent, 8 person tent is HUGE
Review: I did a bit of research on dark shelter beach tents before a camping trip to the Oregon Coast, and settled on this one. I purchased the 8-person dark shade shelter, intending to use it as a play/rest area of sorts at the coast. Here are my findings:- OR coast is usually very windy. This shelter had no problem with that, held up to the wind just fine, the attached sandbags and sand stakes were super useful!- There are TWO zippers on the floor mat/privacy wall part - I didn't see that mentioned in the listing or reviews or questions - this is important and AWESOME because it means you can zip the fourth side up halfway to be a wind barrier, contain toys or items to inside the shelter, or zip up the wall 3/4 so you can check on napping children!- The dark shelter part works great, is *not* included on the fourth wall - even without the fourth wall being darkened it was decently dark inside (I zipped up the fourth side completely from inside to check it out)- the window flaps have elastic loops to hook onto plastic hooks in the corners, that's how you put the window covers up. There are also toggle/loop tie-backs to contain the covers when you want windows open. Something that isn't mentioned in the listing but to me is a feature is that the toggles used on these are the ADJUSTABLE kind! You can tighten them so the rolled up cover doesn't unroll as easily!- for being a 10.5'x10.5' tent, the bag it came in was surprisingly small and overall it's relatively lightweight! Super compact and portable.- it looks nice, it doesn't look cheap or flimsyThings I should share so others can learn from my mistakes:- as mentioned, the 8-person tent is 10.5'x10.5', so it's HUGE! I ordered this size due to needing it to arrive overnight (at the time it was the only one that could arrive in time). I didn't think it would be that big of a deal to set up/take down on my own, however I was WRONG. In the dry sand, with the wind, and the giant tent, I was lucky to have two other adults helping (the third was tending to the littles). I highly recommend having 2+ people to set up and take down, it will take a fraction of the time it took me to do on my own (which is what happened at the campsite to sweep out the sand and properly fold it to fit the bag).Overall this tent is wonderful, it's made of good materials and easy to use (if you have more than two hands and no toddlers running around!). It was also a very reasonable price for what all you get (it comes with guy lines, metal stakes AND sand stakes, and comes with enough stakes of each type for the tent *and* the floor mat/fourth wall thing). I will have to return this one only because it's too large for me to handle assembly/teardown on my own - instead I will be buying a smaller one from Venustas that fits our family better. Also, I didn't get photos or videos unfortunately, I had the littles with me while in the tent so my hands were full.

Title: Great beach tent!
Review: I really like this little beach tent. It will shield you from the sun as well as protect you from biting flies if you shut the door. The windows allow good ventilation. A full size bag chair won't work as your head will hit the ceiling but the shorter beach chairs work perfect. This is great for one person and very easy to set up and take down. If you want two people, I would get the next size up. Two small people could fit but if one is bigger then it will be tight fit getting two folks in this. Overall a great product at a great price.

Review: Bought for our beach trip and it worked great! So easy to set up and take down. Durable fabric and good value for what you pay. All pieces fit nicely in the compact carry bag. Side panels zip for more wind and ventilation.

Title: It Was Okay
Review: Took this to Puerto Rico and tested it out on their beaches. Fairly easy to set up and with the anchors and sand bags, I can rest assure that it wouldnât blow away. Never had to worry about it flying away while I was gone. The only issue I had was how hot it got in the tent. Placing the tent in a shaded place helps, but out on the open sunny beach, hot air gets trapped in there, even with all the windows down, if thereâs not wind, you made yourself a small sauna. I would recommend this maybe at a park or a shady beach, but it will get HOT inside left out on the beach.I still enjoyed it, because the small compact size and how light it was.BE CAREFUL WHEN SETTING UP, THE RODS HAVE FIBER-GLASS IN THEM!! Learned that the hard way.

Title: Great purchase
Review: This was worth every penny, very easy to set up, we did not use stakes, as we took this to the beach. Just put our heavy items on the inside corners, held up great with 15 mph gusts. Lightweight and easy to put back into the traveling case, although it did tear a little bit in the corner. Our four month old slept great on the beach with the window panels open for cross breeze.

Title: Great addition for the beach
Review: We used this for extra shade for our 6 month old and 2 year old in Florida. Loved it. Decently easy to set up by one person but definitely easier to set up with 2 people just to help feed the poles thru. No complaints. Roomy enough for at least 3 of us. If we used it for camping it would have been fine and cozy for 4 of us but for a hot beach, 3 of us would have been all the comfort it allowed. Happy with the purchase for what we intended its use to be.

Title: Love it! Easy to carry, set up and take down deoending on winds.
Review: So, bought it over the weekend, used it Monday afternoon and it was a great addition to our beach day! I practiced the set up at home and I DID get a splinter so I made sure to handle the poles with care at the beach. It took all 3 of us to get it set up on the beach because the wind was fierce, but at home I had it done by myself easily. Once I weighed down the inside it was very stable (against the strong wind) and I managed not to lose any of the stakes! Three adults fit inside; the windows and zip front make for perfect weather protection/ privacy screen also.

Review: The product is great for the price. it is easy to set up. I like all features as it is well build. I am just worried about how sturdy the seams on the top look a little bit weak , as If they will tear apart.besides that the tent is great and perfect for the beach day...

Review: Back in the day this tent was the bomb. Going to all the swank nightclubs and private parties. It was top of the game. But it's a new century. Now this tent is sad and dated. No one calls anymore unless they need to borrow a few bucks. Really shows it's age.Poles are fragile, come apart at the slightest touch. Inserting into foot pedal takes a lot of force. Now the sleek popup tents are eating this old fogey's lunch, laughing at it's ancient pole strings. Some day those young punks will get old too.But today's not that day. Today, this tent is ready for the glue factory. Happy trails, buckaroo.

Review: Set up in our yard to ensure how it goes up before going to the beach. Went up fairly easy with 2 people. 3 is better. Poles are rediculously long. Make sure you have room to set it up. Went back in carry bag at home but you will not properly fit it back in the bag at the beach. Trust me, it won't happen. Bag is way too small and should be at least 1/2 size larger. Other than the bag being to small and poles being to long, this sun tent worked well and I'd recommend. This is the 5 -6 person tent but we had 3 adults in it and I feel a forth would really be crowded. Would be great for a small family of 4.
Customers say
Customers like the ease of assembly, size, and quality of the tent. They mention it's roomy enough for their dog to relax out of the direct sun, ideal for beachgoers who value convenience and efficiency, and lightweight. Customers also like its functionality, sun protection, and value for money. However, some customers differ on its durability.
