Review: I got this for a 65 lb. child to use on a box spring. It's comfortable. The 8" is enough extra than a generic 6" mattress, that it does make a difference.The foam is supportive but soft. There were no unpleasant smells. It was sized and shaped as it should be. Be cautious when cutting open box and plastic wrap. It won't take much to split the go too deep and cut the foam.
