Title: Many reasons to love this book
Review: This book is a gem and I'm glad I found it! Clean eating has been difficult for me in the past but I feel so much better when I abstain from dairy and grains. This book has helped me navigate the clean eating/paleo world without feeling overwhelmed one bit. I love following recipes and have quite a few recipe books, and these are my reasons for throwing a five-star review at this one:1. Easy to follow instructions and really stinkin' good food. I have made a lot of the bread-type recipes in this book because that's what I've missed the most when leaving behind grains, and these are by far the easiest recipes that yield delicious biscuits, scones, crusts - you name it! (Even a very picky toddler approves of the tasty recipes and that's saying something). Baking grain free has never been easier or more delicious for me, and the way she brings together other hearty recipes makes me feel like I'm not "missing out" on grains, dairy and lentils.2. Pictures for every single recipe. Seriously, I love this. I'm a very visual person and when trying a new recipe, nothing confuses me faster than not being able to see or understand what my finished product should look like - one thing I struggle with when using most cookbooks but not this one!3. Pairings are listed at the bottom of recipe pages. Want to know what side goes best with beef tenderloin or salmon or even those yummy crepes you just made? She's listed it right at the bottom, including what page to go to for the accompanying recipe. This is a game changer for me - especially helpful with meal planning. Love this feature.4. Flexibility - you can go easy with the ingredients you have on hand or she shows you how to make some ingredients homemade. Almond milk, iced coffee, broth, ghee...buy it from your grocer or make it from scratch with her recipes. If there's one "down-side" I can think of, it would be that I wish I owned this cookbook in a hardback cover so that it stays open while I'm cooking. With the soft cover back it usually flops closed while I'm cooking but nothing I can't fix with a page marker.

Title: Amazing Flavor in every dish!
Review: I have owned this cookbook for a few years now, and have purchased 3 more for friends who love to cook. As I am purchasing yet another today for a friend, I thought I should really write a review. This is the most used cookbook I own, and I own many. It is very loved as the pages are splattered with food, and edges are marked. I think the most impressive part of this book for me, is having tried almost every entree, not one has disappointed on flavor. My 4 children and husband rave about dinner each time I make something from this cookbook. The enchiladas are my favorite enchilada recipe ever. The Jerk Chicken with mango salsa and coconut rice is out of this world. The Beef Broccoli recipe is so easy and is my favorite stir-fry sauce that I use on other recipes now too. The braised short ribs are my husband's favorite and fall off the bone. I could go on, but I must stop somewhere. If you are looking for clean healthier recipes, full of flavor without much complication, this book will add so much to your repertoire. Although it is a Paleo-friendly book with easy to follow substitutions on each recipe for egg-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options, I am not using it because I eat "Paleo". I just love these clean recipes.

Title: Excellent Book - Try the Bread!!! 🙂
Review: I have adopted the Paleo way of eating and love it. It's truly is a great way to eat, for me! But I do miss having my bread. When I saw the recipe for the All Purpose Sandwich Bread, I immediately made it ,I had to try it! I have tried other breads loaded with cheese (fat head) and some loaded with air (cloud bread) This baby has substance yet totally Paleo-friendly and super easy to make. I will be making batches of this for sure! Her book is also so user friendly. I love all the tips , her ingredients for a clean kitchen, tools and equipment you may need, and clean eating 101..It's all there. I have met Alexis a few years ago at a health event. She truly walks the walk. You will love the layout of the book and her personal notes on each recipe. Photos are great, it's a work of art! Great gift !

Title: I Highly recommend this book.
Review: I bought this book on a whim. Just because it caught my eye when I was doing random Paleo, clean eating searches. ( Thank you Amazon look inside) I had been not feeling well and just tired of eating the same old things. I wanted to reduce my gluten and legume intake mostly. This book is so nicely written that I canât wait to cook my way through it. Every recipe looks amazing. I know because i have been cooking for 43 years and many of her recipes are similar to ones that I have invented for myself throughout the years, but she has exact measurements ( hallelujah) and adds things I never would of thought of. I mean DANG - I love roasted Brussel Sprouts, sprinkled with bacon, but always savory. I never tried to put MAPLE SYRUP on them. Yum. These are simple but delicious ideas. This book will certainly become one of your favorites. I have been collecting cookbooks for many years. â- This one is a winner.

Title: Love!
Review: I really love this book. I've only tried one recipe in the few days I've had it, which was the Creamy Chicken Bacon Spaghetti Squash boats and the family loved them.I took one star off. Here's my reason:Less common recipes would be great. It seems every paleo author already has done the BBQ sauce, Ketchup, Ranch dressing, Broths, Cauli rice, Hazelnut spread, Caramel sauce. Lemonade, Applesauce, Vanilla frosting, Cake, Zucchini Spaghetti.Aside from those, I really enjoyed reading the variety of recipes, the photos are colorful and well staged and the food looks amazing. Many times I have seen cookbooks with photos of the food and they look very unappealing. Not the case with this authors book.I look forward to trying out all the other recipes and I'll update my review after I've tried a bit more.

Review: I'm so pleased with this book which came to me via Paleomg's recommendation via her podcast. I'm not into dairy or gluten and this book has so many alternatives that are better than gluten or dairy! I hope there's a second book.

Review: Excellent cook book! I bought the e-version and it's amazing to access it on my iPad. The indexes that she created are superb and would highly recommend any regular users of tablets to try out the e-version. I'm sure the hard copy is beautiful as well! Lexi is so talented and I have followed her for a long time and enjoyed her recipes and tips. Can't wait to delve into some more of it!
