Title: A lot of great beef recipes...something for every taste.
Review: The recipes look good, and for the most part simple and quick enough toprepare before dropping into the slow cooker. I like that.The only thing (and this is minor) that confused me were the tacos (whichdidn't seem to involve a crock pot at all (Hmmmm?) and the pulled pork recipe (ina beef recipe book? Yes I know it had beef broth in it...but it still made melook twice.) I guess those were to make sure we were paying attention? :)Good job. I can't wait for the fall when we break out the crockpotevery week.

Title: Great selection...and easy preparation!
Review: My wife and I are BIG fans of crockpot cooking, and Jean's book is a terrific addition to our cookbook library. I like the variety of recipes, and the ease of preparation described makes my mouth water ;o). Knowing the healthy benefits of beans, I'm anxious to try out the Black Bean, Onion and Beef Soup. The stew recipes look very inviting, too! And I like how the spices used are common in most kitchens. Well done, Jean!

Title: Any Crockpot Cookbook is Gold in My Eyes - this is no exception!
Review: MMMM, beef! And crockpot beef. Oh yeah. I have loved using the crockpot for decades now, and these recipes never get old. It's so nice to have some new recipes to try out because I'm getting pretty tired of the same ones I have been making over and over. The Sliced Beef and Celery Stroganoff looks d-i-v-i-n-e! It's on my list of the first to try. Thanks for putting these together!

Title: Some great looking food combinations
Review: I enjoy a great meal at home but I don't like to spend much time with food preparation in the kitchen. This is why I use my crock pots a lot. After checking out the "Look Inside" feature, I saw several food combinations I knew I liked and the fact that they are prepared in a slow cooker is what sold me.The food ingredients contained in the recipes are easy to find, there isn't a lot of food preparation involved, and the directions are easy to follow.Although I've never seen a cookbook with the ingredient listed before the amount needed in the recipe, it doesn't seem like it will be a problem for me at all.Now I think I'll head on over to Jean Pardue's slow cooker chicken recipes to add even more choices to my menus.

Title: Great For Cold Weather - Prepare It, Refrigerate, And Cook While You're At Work
Review: Crock pot recipes are the bomb. I have quite a collection of them, as there is nothing better than coming home to the aromas of a meal that it feels like you didn't cook! While you're away, your meal is gently cooking, until by the time you get home, you've got melt-in-the-mouth perfection. This is a broad array of great recipes to add to the recipe box that will make me look like a miracle worker! Thanks so much for your great recipe books!

Review: I loved this book. The recipes are easy even for me. They are great to prepare in the morning and leave all day greeting you at night with a wonderful aroma and a fabulous cooked meal.I used to use my slow cooker, but it would just be a leg of lamb or a chicken. With these recipes I have been doing a bit more experimenting and have loved what I have tried. My favourite so far is the chilli and hot sausage.
