Title: Roasting with Rachael!
Review: This is one substantial roaster. It's the second one I've ever owned. My first was given to me back in my bachelor days by a friend of my mother in the early 1980s. It was aluminum, and had that sort white-ish, spotty-looking non-stick stuff on the inside, and bright red paint on the outside. It came with other stuff too that matched. There was a nice mixing bowl, a spatula, and a couple of other kitchen utensils that any young bachelor can use when heâs just starting out in his first apartment. I loved that roaster, but alas, it was old and tired, and I, being a fan of Rachael Ray's, thought I would give her product a shot. Just a few days after ordering, it showed up where I work because one day the crazy mail person left me a note that she couldnât deliver a package to me at home because there wasn't enough room to U-turn in my driveway. Well, that's just nonsense, I thought... why would you need to U-turn in someoneâs driveway? Those mail trucks have perfectly workable transmissions, with probably a nice shifting option for reverse, so all you have to do is back out, but it's not my place to question the crazy mail person on her knowledge of the vehicle she drives, and I'd just as soon not have her driving anywhere near my house if she doesn't know about the reverse gear option that I believe is available in most, if not all vehicles, be they government-owned or private. Anyway, I got the pan home and opened the box. Everything was nicely packaged in plastic, and cardboard, and the reversible grate looked pretty darned spiffy. You can cook at two different heights with the grate by flipping it one way or the other, and I gave some thought as to which height I would use when I cooked with it the first time. It seems to me that the lower setting would be the best since I was only cooking a chicken, and not a turkey. A turkey would probably require the taller setting because of the amount of drippings, but I havenât tried to cook a turkey in it yet. I usually cook my turkeys on the olâ Weber kettle. I like to roast in the BBQ using the indirect-heating method, which makes the juiciest turkeys EVER! I usually use hard maple for a little smoke flavor. Alder and cherry are really tasty too. I soak chunks of it in water for a couple of days while the turkey is defrosting so the wood wonât be too dry and burn up right away when you throw it in with the charcoal brickets.I gave the roaster 5 stars because I really like it, but I have to say that the grate is more difficult to clean than described. It does take a little elbow grease, and some patience, but the roaster itself is a breeze. I like that the handles are mounted on the outside of the roaster. Craziest thing, one of the competitorâs roasting pans have the handles mounted on the inside! Well, not in Clark Countyâs kitchen.I use the roaster almost every night. Iâve cooked chickens, chicken parts, hamburger patties, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and LOTS of jalapenos. I had roasted Brussels sprouts in a restaurant one time that had bacon on them, and it was so good that I thought Iâd try it in my new roaster pan. It turned out great! I took a bunch of Brussels sprouts, cut them in half, and spread them out a bit in the pan, then I added a bunch of chunks of bacon, then slices of jalapenos and a little olive oil sprinkled on top... oh, and a little salt and pepper, of course. Around 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and it was delicious. I roasted some cauliflower the same way, but I forgot the bacon. It still turned out pretty tasty. I remember that I was going to try to cook something else in it, but now I canât think of what it was.Iâd definitely recommend the Rachael Ray pan if youâre in the market. Itâs a little more expensive, but judging by how long I kept my first pan, this one should be around for a long time.Yours Truly,Clark County

Title: Good Solid Pan, Versatile
Review: I love the rack. Poor in some water, add some fresh spices, tent your roast, chicken, turkey whatever and it turns out perfect. It cleans up easy. A very thick non-stick surface. Take the rack out and use a browning bag if you like. If you want the drippings for gravy, put the rack in there and the gravy is on the way with an open roast. I use it all the time. Coat the pan with flour, add maybe 3/4 to 1 cup of water(keeps the drippings from scorching, it will cook down, higher temps call for more water) and the gravy makes itself.

Title: Look no further, âthe bestâ oven pan IMO
Review: This has got to be the perfect pan. I love everything about it. Itâs decently deep, love the handles, and love the grill portion of it. For years, Iâve wanted a baking dish that had a grill grate that didnât sit right near the bottom of the pan. This pan leaves a good inch and a half in between the bottom and the grate itself. Thumbs up!!!!!! I even bought my mom one. Very sturdy, again, love handles, and super easy to clean. Will recommend to friends and family.

Title: Perfect roasting pan and rack!
Review: I waited a year to obtain this roaster and rack. It is lighter in weight than some roasters but also sturdy. The rack can be used or not, but when used can be high or low depending on which position it is placed. It is non stick, it exceeds my expectatations and is much more than I had hoped. There are many versitile ways to use this set!. Being slightly shorter ( not by much) than some roastering pans, I found that it used less space in my oven and could be turned the opposite direction gaining me extra space for a casserole as well!

Title: Great Buy
Review: Love, Love, Love, this pan. Cooks well, excellent size for a family meal, super easy clean up. Only thing you have to be careful of are the handles which get very hot in the oven and are in a bad spot, I have burned my arm when basting in the pot when I am not being careful.

Title: Pretty good
Review: I never like to buy cookware with celebrity names on it, but did so in this case. I have nothing bad to say about it, and the main reason I bought this particular one was due to its size and the reversible rack. The rack either sits low in the pan, or turn it over and it sits higher in the pan...I like the flexibility of that. I like to use it "higher" when cooking beef prime rib since it seems to let the heat circulate better and you get more even cooking. Overall, pretty good. I would be better had it not had Rachel Ray's name on it. I usually don't like non-stick roasters either, but made an exception here, again, because of the rack. Hmm, I can't believe I bought a roasting pan because of its rack. 🙁

Review: I saw Rachel Ray roasting chicken pieces and vegetables. I liked the design of the pan plus it was non stick. I have used it 6 times since the purchase and I am extremely pleased with the result, the grid enables you to cook the chicken on top and the vegetables on the bottom, no need for extra pans. It cooked perfectly and it is now a favourite dish with our family.

Review: This tray is a fantastic example of a truly premium product. It is very thick and sturdy. Handles don't wobble at all and the metal stays completely flat even at high temperature. The rack is great and cleverly allows for two heights so that we can roast potatoes or other root vegetables below and get all those juices absorbed. It is expensive but looks like it could last a decade or more!
