Title: Light easy to use and learn
Review: I bought this for my grand daughter's 8th birthday. It is good quality for the money and easy to learn for a beginner. The foot pedal is not working. I hope when i put batteries in this will work. I may need to get a new foot pedal. Everything else functions well. Like the directions and xtra supplies included.

Title: Sew Fun!
Review: Great little beginner sewing machine especially for kids. It’s not a toy, but a real working machine that must be treated gently. It’s adorable. The only problem so far is the needle. It seems to bend and break easily. They do provide extra needles, & that’s probably why.

Title: Keeps jamming and breaking threads
Review: The upper thread that you wind into the needle keeps on breaking. Very bad. It’s difficult to use. And I don’t know what the problem is while sewing the needle gets stuck inside and I have to take out the needle and thread it again. Even the threads provided are not of good quality. If that wasn’t enough the machine stops working even when it is plugged in. Like after 30 minute use it would stop working and I have to keep it aside for a while before it starts working again.

Title: My First sewing machine
Review: This was my first sewing machine purchase, and while my family already owned one, I decided to get my own. The smaller size felt less intimidating, which made it a great starting point for learning to sew.Pros:Beginner-Friendly Speed: The speed controlled by the foot pedal isn’t particularly fast, but I found it helpful for learning. It allows new users to get accustomed to stitching without being overwhelmed. However, compared to larger machines, it does feel slower, and the pedal lacks sensitivity—it really only has one speed.Speed Settings: I haven’t used the manual buttons much, but when I tried switching to the higher speed setting, I noticed it stitches faster than fully pressing the foot pedal. This could be helpful for those who prefer manual speed control.Light: The small built-in light is brighter when running on battery power than when plugged into an outlet. While this isn’t a huge issue, it does contrast with the machine's performance, as it struggles to stitch when running on battery power.Convenient Thread Cutter: The thread cutter on the side is very handy. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss it until I used another machine without one and had to keep reaching for scissors!Bobbin Placement: The bobbin is easy to remove and install, which simplifies the process when you need to change it.Cons:Battery Operation: While it does run on batteries, the machine stops stitching after less than a minute, even though the batteries aren’t dead (the light stays on). This makes battery use unreliable for any real project.Handling Thick Fabric: When sewing thicker layers, like in quilting, the machine struggles. It often pauses, and the needle bends when dealing with thick seams. I’m not sure if this is a hardware issue or user error, but it makes me nervous when working on those layers.Speed Control Sensitivity: The foot pedal lacks sensitivity, and there isn’t much control over speed—it’s more of an on-off situation rather than a gradual increase or decrease.Overall:While this machine isn’t ideal for someone who sews a lot or works with heavy fabrics, it’s a great starter machine. The slower speed and ease of use make it perfect for learning sewing techniques and experimenting at a comfortable pace. If you’re new to sewing and want a machine to help you get started, this is a solid choice. For more advanced work, especially with thicker fabrics, you might want to consider upgrading.

Title: Great until not
Review: I have had this machine a couple of years but I have only used it a handful of times for light sewing tasks. Pulled it out to make a few holiday gifts. Was going well than the thread started to tangle and eventually stopped threading all together. I noticed the needle gets caught at the bottom and pulls. Tried replacing needle and same issue. I have searched on line to troubleshoot and not sure what a good fix. The needle seems too long but it is what came with the product. Giving 3 stars because it was amazing before now. This is just really frustrating to see the problem and not know how to remedy it.

Review: So on my 22nd use the foot pedal would not work playing with the cord I did manage to get it working then went to sew my project and it wasn't working again. I had to play with the cord to get it to work, not very happy with this turn of events.
