Title: K300: a better choice than the popular Toto C5 if you want limitless warm water
Review: Bidet seats in general are fantastic. Once you try it, it's hard to contemplate going back.I purchased this one after a bunch of research. Many online sources (e.g., Wirecutter) recommend the Toto C5 as a great bidet seat that has all the features you need at a ...sort of reasonable price. This unit has all the same features plus tankless hot water instead of a warm water reservoir. There are several advantages to this: 1) you never run out of warm water, 2) the profile of the seat gets streamlined, and 3) the K300 is more power efficient for water than the C5. The rear of this unit is about half an inch lower than the C5, but the whole seat is more sveldt. Right now the K300 is $150 or so more than the C5 and I find the price increase to be worth it for these advantages.The rest of this review would likely apply to the C5 as well, as their features sets are the same other than tankless hot water.Heated Seat:Not the foremost thing people think about with bidet seats, but it's very comforting! Two thumbs up!Ewater+ and Premist:These are great features that help make the unit less likely to need cleaning. Ewater+ is electrolyzed water that washes the wand before and after each use. Anything that minimizes your need to clean the wand is going to be a good thing, so I appreciate this one. Premist means the seat spritzes down the bowl as soon as you sit on it. This really does prevent the bowl from getting messy. Since I've had the unit, I haven't had to work on...uh...removing evidence of use, let's say. That's something I often reluctantly had to engage in prior to installing the seat.Wand Features:This unit comes with the usual suspects of oscillation and pulsation, both of which I've found to be helpful. Volume, temp, and placement are easily adjustable from the remote.Deodorization:A fan sucks fumes from the bowl through a filter. This starts as soon as you sit down, and is more aggressive for 1 minute right after you get off the seat. Shockingly, this actually works pretty well except maybe against the toughest of stinkers. I don't find the fan noise to be offensive at night, but you can deselect this function if the noise bothers you.Remote:Simple and effective. All features are available on the remote and it took one or two uses to become completely familiar with it. It's intuitive. The remote has two memories, so you and your partner can easily select your preferences in a snap.Install:Really not too difficult. Maybe 30 minutes of work. I got no leaks on the first try. You must have a GFCI outlet within 3 feet of the toilet for the cord to reach.All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Title: Excellent device!
Review: Purchased one because my wife was scheduled for shoulder surgery which would limit her mobility. Installation on our enlongated Kohler toilet was easy and secure. The bolts connecting the bidet seat to the toilet body are encased in rubber grommets that expand when the bolts are tightened, "locking" the seat in place. The water hookup was easy. However, adding the Toto connector lengthened the overall length of the toilet supply line and the hose connecting the seat itself is difficult to conceal.Others have mentioned low water pressure from the wand. I experienced that too until I cleaned mineral deposits from the supply line connectors; now - no problems! The endless warm water feature is a definite plus. The remote was a little intimidating at first but use became routine quickly. The seat itself is comfortable. The slow close seat cover seemed gigantic when first installed but now seems normal. The vent fan works well (low when you sit down, stronger when you stand up). Cleaning the entire unit periodically is easy. There's an "energy saving" setting that times out the seat heater but there's no explanation about how it works so the seat is occasionally unheated but, when you sit down, the seat heating starts and warms up in a couple of minutes. There is a small amount of noise when the bowl is sprayed, when the fan runs and during the wand cleaning cycle, but I haven't found it to be distracting. Others have commented that the drying fan isn't effective but I've found it perfectly adequate. Patience is a virtue. Also, the functions (water warmth, seat warmth, spray pressure, fan, etc.) are configurable.There is an ancillary issue that could be expensive: you'll need to have a receptacle nearby (within 4') and ideally close to floor level, so you may need to spend for an electrician to accomplish that. Pay attention to the power consumption specs in case you need an upgraded or separate circuit.Toilet paper use has been significantly reduced and personal cleanliness is perfect. There's no going back for us! After about a week of use we liked it so much that we purchased a second unit for our first floor guest restroom.

Review: I waited a few weeks before submitting my review to make sure I was satisfied with this model. After reading a lot of reviews I am glad I spent a bit more money on the tankless model. It also comes with the proper “T” fitting to hook up the plumbing to the water supply line. I did have to install a GFI outlet near the toilet ( as shown in the picture). The bolts seemed too small for my American Standard toilet but after talking to a Toto tech , they said to flip the rubber grommet upside down and that worked fine.

Review: Found a quality issue that the inner ring of the seat has gaps in the seam. This area can get splattered by urine very often. Compare to my friends’ C5, their ring seam is rather tight.Thinking about returning because I can foresee the significant maintenance required to use *soft and wet* cloth to wipe it every time after peeing.
