Title: took longer to get the old seat off than installing the bidet itself..
Review: my girlfriend has been after me for quite some time to get a bidet. i bought this model because she had one just like it, and i liked how the nozzles stay hidden. removing the old seat was a chore, the old plastic fastners didn't want to budge, so with slip joint pliers and a socket with stubby ratchet, i was able to finally remove the old seat. this seat installed in less than 10 minutes, comes with all the hardware you need. my suggestion is to dry fit the seat and not tighten the fastners all the way. get them roughly where you want them and slightly tighten them. dont overtighten. don't use any tools or sockets. hand tight and then 1/4 of a turn should do the trick. the bidet comes with the t-adapter, you simply disconnect from your toilet tank and screw the end from supply line into the t-adapter, make sure the gasket is facing up on the t-adapter supplied with the bidet, and make sure the valve on t-adapter is on so water will go to the bidet seat. i purchased the round version and to my surprise the nozzles lined up with my backside perfectly. for reference im 5'5 and a portly 224 pounds. the instructions included are adequate and you don't need to be a handyman to install this. enhance your bathroom experience, and buy one of these, don't waste your time with the other bidets that adapt to your existing toilet seat, just get this one. the seat is comfortable and the bidet has great pressure. all you have to do is check the connections from time to time to ensure they aren't leaking. hardware seems well made so i don't foresee any issues. for peace of mind, i placed a water leak detector near the supply line on the floor, that way if it develops a leak, i will be aware. my toilet is situated in such a way that it's hard to see if it's leaking or not, but so far so good. the leak detectors are very cheap and run off a 9v battery. when the metal contacts detect moisture, it beeps like a smoke detector. i will update this later. until then, enjoy the go! as they say 🙂

Review: Replaced a different bidet attachment (one that wasn't a full seat) because I found that difficult to keep clean. This is much better - nozzle retracts when not in use, and there are no holes where it attaches to the toilet.Customer service is also great - the included adapter didn't work with the skirted toilet I have, and seller was very helpful in finding a solution using a different adapter.
