Review: If you don’t want your bike stolen, get this lock!When I got this lock, it not only looked like a beast and felt like one, but it also had some serious weight to it. Totally worth every penny—super high quality! With the Fahgettaboudit lock, I feel confident no one can steal my bike. I bought it for my (Lectric) e-bike, and it works like a charm.I also love that it comes with multiple keys and that you can register them in case they’re ever lost or stolen. A quick note: if I’m going off-roading or don’t plan to use the lock, I take it off the bike because of the added weight.Overall, 10/10—love it and highly recommend it!

Title: I love this lock!
Review: I had my motor scooter stolen last year. The thief cut the u lock I had on it. So after looking at many reviews I decided to go with this one and a 16mm chain so now the weak point in the slightly "smaller" chain lol. This u lock is massive and very heavy so keep that in mind. But it does fit under my seat with plenty of room for gear. After owning the lock for over a year and having it out in the rain and extreme hot/cold it still functions as if it was new. I do put a drop of 3 in 1 lube in the key hole every few months but its has never given me trouble like other disk detainer mechanisms I've had in the past. This lock also has the updated core that has more disks and they tension off a disk father in, instead of the first disk making it harder to pick. But honestly nobody is going to be picking it.

Title: Very durable lock and easy to carry around
Review: This lock is a huge step up from my old random chain lock I had. The lock has 3 keys total making it very nice in case you lose any and the product feels super secure. I trust this lock to protect my electric scooter for when I take it to school. The lock has some weight to it but nothing that would be considered crazy. I’ve been using it for around 2 months and have zero complaints. The price was a little steep but after using this lock it feels entirely justified and worth spending the money to protect my electric scooter.

Title: Short but heavy duty
Review: This lock is thick and heavy. My rating for 4 stars is simply because I wish it was a tad bit longer. I wanted to use this to lock my ebike wheel to the frame. It probably would lock to the bike and post.The aventon ebike frame is thick and with the fender in the way, to lock the wheel to the bike, I could only lock the back wheel to the “forks” holding the wheel. It’s thin metal so obviously I would’ve preferred that the wheel lock reached the thicker park of the frame. I am still scared to leave my bike unattended.It is much thicker than my old one.

Title: Good Deterrent
Review: This lock is great at keeping honest people honest, amateur thieves from stealing your bike, but will not deter those with an angle grinder. This is great for someone riding ebikes (as the lock is like 5lbs), locking their bike to pop into stores or eating somewhere, and not planning on locking their bike up overnight.The lock feels super durable and the three included keys are nice as well.

Review: Es pequeño a diferencia de otros modelos y eso te obliga a ser creativo en la manera en la que aseguras tu bicicleta. Definitivamente es el más. Pesado pero para mi, está perfecto porque, me da una sensación de seguridad en donde sea que ponga mi bici. Tiene tres llaves y una viene con luz. La garantía de por vida es únicamente valida en Canadá y en los United 😂. He visto varios videos en donde sí pueden romperlo pero para eso necesitan algún tipo de sierra. Totalmente recomendable. A pesar del precio elevado estoy satisfecho con este candado.

Review: I needed a lock for my trike which was above normal strength. This thing is, according to an ex bike thief, almost impossible to remove in the short time needed with a power tool. A diamond cutter seems needed, or hi torque jaws of life. Nothing is unbreakable to a determined thief, but these are often ignored for an easier target. I'll let you know if anyone steals my trike and the police follow them on a GPS tracker.

Review: Mein 2000€ teures Rennrad, das leider nur mit einem 0815 Kabelschloss gesichert war (lol, und das in Frankfurt, selbst Schuld), wurde mir leider geklaut. Da hat auch der GPS Tracker nichts gebracht. Da es versichert war, wurde es zum Glück ersetzt.Ich habe mich daraufhin dazu entschieden, in Sachen Sicherheit nun richtig auszurasten und potentiellen Dieben das Leben so richtig zur Hölle zu machen, falls sie noch mal auf die Idee kommen sollten.Mich nur auf ein einziges Schloss zu verlassen wäre mir noch zu einfach gewesen. Daher habe ich mir gleich !3! hochsichere Schlösser verschiedener Arten zugelegt:1. Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Mini (Sold Secure Diamond und ART 4 zertifiziert, Sicherheitsstufe 10/10)2. Kryptonite 808 Kettenschloss Chain 1090 (Sold Secure Gold zertifiziert, Sicherheitsstufe 8/10)3. Tex-Lock 2.0 eyelet Textilschloss (Sold Secure Gold und ART 2 zertifiziert)Ich denke, da hat keiner von diesen Lieferwagenbanden Lust, sich die Zähne auszubeißen!Für das Fahgettaboudit Mini gibt es eine passende und robuste Halterung von LockRockIT.Nun zum Schloss selbst:- Man bekommt das Schloss inklusive 3 Schlüssel geliefert. Eines der Schlüssel verfügt über eine kleine Taschenlampe, was für nachts sehr praktisch ist. Das Licht ist auch schön hell.- Ja, den Schlüssel bekommt man ein wenig schwieriger wie gewohnt in das Schloss. Das ist der "lock pick protection" von Kryptonite geschuldet, man sollte eigentlich froh über diesen Sicherheitsmechanismus sein. Im Alltag habe ich damit eigentlich keine Probleme, man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell daran.- Die Schlüssel selbst machen einen robusten Eindruck. Wenn man nicht allzu viel falsch macht, sollten sie eigentlich nicht verbiegen.- Die Passgenauigkeit ist völlig ok. Sie ist nicht so extrem, dass man das Schloss kaum zusammenbauen kann, wie mancher hier behauptet.- Es hat tatsächlich aufgrund des Materials eine gewisse "Klebrigkeit", die ich allerdings bisher nicht als hinderlich empfand.- Der Schließmechanismus ist sehr leichtläufig. Das kann den negativen Nebeneffekt haben, dass sich der Schlüssel bei der De-/Montage verdreht, sodass man den Bügel nicht direkt in die Halterung einführen kann, sondern den Schlüssel erst wieder in die richtige Position zurückdrehen muss. Daher entferne ich den Schlüssel währenddessen meistens.Leider gab es einen kleinen Defekt, sodass ein Bolzen vom Schließmechanismus irgendwo dagegen gerieben hat. Der Support war extrem hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Ich sollte zunächst versuchen, ob es durch Reinigung und den Einsatz von Schmiermittel behoben wird. Nachdem dies nichts nützte, wurde mir innerhalb weniger Tage ein Ersatzschloss geliefert.Mein Fazit:Man muss aufgrund der Sicherheit schon mit kleineren Abstrichen leben. Allerdings ist dies tausendmal besser als ein geklautes Fahrrad. Glaubt es mir 😉 Ich würde das Schloss immer wieder kaufen. Verlasst euch aber niemals auf nur ein Schloss, wenn ihr ein hochwertiges Bike habt!
