You may now kiss the biker

Bethany Jernigan owes her bestie. Big time. So when wedding planning overburdens the bride-to-be, Bethany steps in to handle the nitty-gritty. But the guy in charge isn't anything like she imagined. He's gruff, tattooed, and 100% male. His staff is even rougher around the edges, and it's not long before she feels as if she's stepped into some kind of crazy alternate reality.

Are those…bikers? Arguing about wedding favors?

Trey Harding never wanted this to get so out of hand. One little lie somehow snowballed into a world of dresses and flowers and food and holy-hell-he's-in-over-his-head. But it's not like he can confess he's not the wedding planner he's pretending to be—especially now that he's falling for the maid of honor! His charade is becoming a farce, and as engines rev and ribbons fly, Trey's running out of time to figure out how to tell the truth without losing his new family, his crew…or the woman of his dreams.

Title: Biker love
Review: I love this one. Such a different biker book. To Have and to Harley is funny and sexy. Trey and the rest of The Shadows are rough around the edges yet all show a bit of a soft side too. Bethany is sweet and trying to help out her best friend plan her wedding. I love how Bethany tests Trey once he comes into the picture. Who would have thought a bunch of bikers who skirt the law can get so into wedding planning. That part is like the best. I laughed several times over these bada$$ bikers and the wedding plans they come up with. There is no denying the chemistry between Bethany and Trey. I love how well they work together and boy are they hot together. Such a fabulous read. I can't wait for more Biker and Brides to come.

Title: Snow White and the Eleven Dorks
Review: I'm seeing a lot of fairy tale themes in my recent reading. I identified those magical elements early in To Have and to Harley, because biker wedding planners had to be a fantasy. And indeed, improbability is a dominant thread in this plot.Trey Harding is a product of the System. Abandoned as an infant, he grew up in foster homes. After aging out of the system and sowing the standard variety of wild oats, he has built himself a family out of the wounded robin-hoodlums in his MC, the Iron Shadows. The Shadows are a major component of the fairy tale ambiance with their chivalrous vigilante-ism. Their business consists of keeping their territory clear of drug dealers, watching out for the downtrodden, and under the table private security work. This is the most plain vanilla MC I've ever read about, and under the cuss words, leather, and tattoos, these guys seem to be pillars of middle class values. But that's ok. Fairy tale, right?Trey discovers that he wasn't abandoned but kidnapped, and he has a mom and a sister. Suspicious but unable to resist, Trey decides to meet his mom at her request. In the course of meeting Mom Yelverton, Trey, too embarrassed to tell the truth and inspired by a stack of bridal magazines, claims to be a wedding planner. Oops! He also meets Bethany.Bethany Jernigan is bride-to-be Sarah Yelverton's BFF (and actual wedding planner) and the Yelverton's are her made family, since her actual family s*cks. The Yelvertons took Bethany in as a teen after her much loved Dad died and saved her from another ft trope variant, an evil grandma. Bethany's grandmother makes ALL the evil step-mothers look like models of maternal sweetness. After all this is established, stuff happens. Lies are told. Souls are searched. Bad dudes threaten. Sins are confessed and apologized for. The most entertaining moments are provided by Bethany's horror story family and the biker gang who become surprisingly invested in Sarah's wedding. All the loose ends are tied up in a big stylish rustic bow. And Bob's yer uncle: HEA!I enjoyed reading this book, so why three stars? The writing, while grammatical and competent, was uninspired--a major consideration for me. While I didn't expect this to be stone cold realistic, I found it to be a little bland. I could have used a lot more of crazy bee-otch granny and domesticated biker dudes. The protagonists were likable and fairly intelligent, but all the lies bugged me. I would have liked less external danger side plot and a more detailed resolution to the family issues. I would recommend To Have and to Harley to readers looking for a light summer romance requiring considerable suspension of disbelief. I wouldn't reread this, but I'd def. read the next book in a series especially if it involved the biker dudes.

Title: Regina Cole became a new author to my list of automatic reads.
Review: I stay up late reading this book until the very end. There was something that pulled me and I couldn't put it down. Regina Cole became a new author to my list of automatic reads.Bethany is a woman trying to find her place in the world after she quit her job. Her best friend is getting married, she's unemployed and of course, she accepts Sarah request to plan the wedding. She had no idea what she was getting into but at the same time, she wanted to help the family that has been there for her after her own father died some years ago.Trey is the leader of The Shadows, a group of bikers that toe the line of the law trying to keep the town they live in free of drugs and criminals. He has lived his life thinking his mother abandoned him in a bathroom stall without a care in the world, and his only family is his men, The Shadows. He's in for a surprise and a half when a PI founds him in a bar and tells him a shocking discovery.I adored this story. It's one of the funniest things I have read about bikers in a long time. The interaction between them was fantastic because they knew each other so well but the way the tasks were taken over by The Shadows men was so enjoyable that I can't even begin to explain it.The back and forward between Bethany and Trey was also interesting to see. How misunderstandings happened and how lies became so big that it was not going back. The love that grew between them and the way they wanted to keep they loved safe, also played a roll in me loving this story.HEA was a perfect ending for this book and the idea of what's to come for the men in this series makes me anxious to get the next book in my hands right now. I'm itching to see more, to read more, to know more. The characters are relatable, all of them, even the secondary ones. The writing is simple but to the point, without overuse of big words or anything that could hinder the flow of the story. The plot was great, not only the romantic one because we are following two plots in this book, plots that interconnect at the end.I would absolutely recommend this book to any lover of biker romances, family reunions, I fell for my best friend brother kind of books. You won't regret a minute of the time you invest in this book.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Title: Meh...fell a bit flat for me...
Review: After reading the blurb for this one I had to check it out -bikers as wedding planners seemed like a fun read. Unfortunately, this one fell a bit flat for me and ended up being just…meh…and really wasn’t my type of book. I think it had a lot of potential and really liked some of the story, but at times the story seemed all over the place and lacked a feeling of continuity to tie all the various plot lines and subplots together. There were some really great secondary characters and I think the series may have potential, but the initial setup for the series was a bit too awkward for me.I received an advance reader copy from the publisher via NetGalley which I voluntarily reviewed.

Title: Wedding planners and bikers
Review: I wasn't sure how a motorcycle club could pull off planning a wedding but Regina Cole made it work. I really enjoyed Trey and his brothers, they were hilarious when they got into the wedding plans but still tough when they had other business.
