Title: The birds love it!
Review: This is a sturdy, well made bird feeder. It does just a promised, keeping squirrels out and allowing birds of all sizes to feed.

Title: Squirrels gave up on this one very quickly, and it attracts many bird varieties!
Review: This is the best-designed bird feeder I've encountered that accepts all sizes of seeds and really does deflect squirrels. The birds love it, and so do I and my cat, who watches all the activity from a nearby window. I would recommend this one to anyone. But even though it holds up to three pounds of seeds, don't load it up, because if you get a lot of rain, you may develop mold in the tube, which can be toxic for birds. Then you'd have to throw out a lot of seeds, and scrub the tube. So 1 to 1 1/2 pounds at a time is the wisest way to load it.

Title: Niser Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder
Review: I bought two of these, unfortunately during a month long drought when it seemed like the birds all disappeared. But we finally got some rain and they reappeared and discovered the feeders. I have them hanging on an old A-frame from a porch swing, and although the gray squirrels went at them right off the bat they were totally unsuccessful. The sparrows, finches and chickadees can sit on all four rests but if one of the tree rats touches it the cage slides down and blocks the openings. They are pretty easy to fill by pulling the center cap up the wire hanger, but I use a funnel to keep from spilling too much. They seem to be sturdy so I'm hoping they hold up over the long term. So far I'm very pleased with them.

Title: Good capacity and effective
Review: The design of this feeder is effective in excluding squirrels, and I like the larger capacity. It's an attractive hunter green, and seems well made; the perches stay folded firmly down or up (if you bring it in at night). The outer metal grid is quite large, though: I've another feeder of this design with a crosshatched outer mesh. The finer grid provides more perches for "on-deck" birds awaiting a turn at a port, which I prefer.Birds immediately took to this feeder. It's excellent with sunflower chips -- hulled pieces of seed -- which are pricey but save mess and give birds a lot of energy for relatively little work. It'll stay in year 'round rotation as one of several feeding stations in my yard.

Title: Do not recommend
Review: It's cute and keeps off the bigger birds and squirrels but allows moisture in to the seed so it clumps and molds, therefore no creature eats it. When I clean it out and refill it works for awhile but water gets in every time it rains. Waste of money in my climate. Perhaps if you live somewhere dry or it is undercover.Would gladly give you mine so it doesn't end up in the dump, but I'm not cleaning it again, ugh. (Have had it 9 months)

Title: FILLING?
Review: Bird feeder works well. Plenty of small-ish birds come to feed and the capacity is enough to not require filling but once a week (or more). BUT -- I am having difficulty filling the feeder -- without making a grand mess. Seed everywhere. Does anyone -- including the vendor -- have solutions for an easy way to fill the tube without broadcasting seed in all directions. Thank you!

Title: Great bird feeder at reasonable price
Review: I have had many bird feeders throughout my life. Most have not lasted long and were difficult to clean. I liked this feeder so much I ordered another. Price was reasonable especially compared to those I saw in stores. Easy to fill. And given the numbers of birds feeding, they like it too.

Title: Not completely squirrel proof
Review: My little birdies love this, particularly finches and chickadees. However the cardinals don’t. They prefer to eat the seeds off the ground, as they drop. The squirrels, however, will jump from anywhere onto the feeder. The good thing is no matter how hard they try, they can’t get the seed out. The feeder is sturdy and I would recommend it.

Customers say

Customers like the build quality, fillability, and functionality of the wildlife feeder. They mention it's well-built, holds a large amount of feed, and works great. Customers are also happy with the design. However, some dislike seed spillage. Opinions are mixed on squirrel protection, bird feed, and value for money.
