Title: Nice easy recipes
Review: Even though I left out the coconut water of the recipe, the treats cane out great. Next ill try the frozen bacon&peanut butter treats. I used silicone molds and froze the mixture over night, popped them out and put them in freezer bags.

Title: An amazing book! (from a non-reviewer)
Review: I normally don't leave a review; but, I felt compelled to leave a review for this one. This book is so amazing! It has more than what I expected. I'm one to research everything so that my fur-baby only gets the best. So when I looked through this book I loved that the authors referenced everything. They even spoke with Veterinary Nutristionists at Cornell University. I spoke with a specialist there and they really are trusted experts. I also like how they spoke about their own fur-babies and how they use those recipes for their dogs. This book includes substitution ideas, nutrition facts, and sidebars. There is even an index for the sidebars if you ever want to reread the facts. Their chapters are so cleverly created as well. Their instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Some of them are repeated in each recipe; but, I like that so you can be reminded without having to find it elsewhere in the book. As an added bonus there is a bookmark. I would've liked to see pictures of the recipes, but the silhouettes of different dog breeds is a cute touch. And yes the ingredients are organic. Everything is either fruit or veggies. You simply spend a couple extra bucks to buy the organic fruits/veggies that don't include preservatives, pesticides, or chemical changes. But still be sure to give them a good rinse before baking with it/giving it directly to your dog to eat. Thank you so much to the authors for publishing a book like this one!

Title: be sure and mark dog treats on the container 🙂
Review: This is a nice cookbook for dogs. There is a great introduction in the beginning that helps with the ingredient list for the pantry, there are tips on what not to feed a dog and also kitchen tools that will be needed. I am new to cooking so practicing on my dog works great! Snowballs treats is our dogs favorite. It is quick and easy and they make the house smell good. This book has well over 100 recipes and it ranges from treats to full meals. Pup pizza is something I am excited to make for our dog but I need to get to the store first. I rated 4 stars because some of these recipes look like they could get costly and I am always looking for a bargain so cheaper is better for me. A few recipes call for liver and I'm certain I will never try those but the rest look good. To be honest these treats and meals would work for a human if you want to share 🙂 I only know this because I made the apple spice muffins and set them in the microwave on a plate, thinking that my family saw the cookbook and came back to get one for my pup and they were gone! I told them and they said that the recipe was good. Give it a try it's a crowd pleaser literally.

Title: Plenty of choices
Review: Got tired of spending so much money on a bag ofhigh quality treats for 3 dogs. This is so much cheaper & healthy. Once you get a supply of the ingredients they’re easy, healthy, and way more affordable. Instructions are excellant. I’ve made two so far & all 3 dogs love them. Even my pickiest who spit it out the first time came back for more & was won over.

Title: Great Organic Dog Treat Cookbook
Review: I found some recipes in Bark magazine that were from The Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook. The Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook: Over 100 "Tail Wagging" Recipes My Boston pup, Boss, liked them so much that I ordered the book from Amazon.com. So far, I have tried 15 recipes. Boss' favorites are: Thatsa One Spicy Meatball, The Classic, Lil' Taste O' Pie, Muddy Paws, Red Hot Puppermints (breath), Apple Cinnamon Muttins, Ice Cubes Just Got A Lot Better, Because I Carob 'Bout You, Cheesecake Brownies, Jerky Turkey and Dragon Slayers (breath). Luckily I have a dog that will eat just about anything. I tried the Blueberry Muttins, but he wasn't too crazy about the blueberries. When I gave him the first one, he picked all the blueberries out and left them on the rug. Eventually he ate the whole thing. All treats are made with organic ingredients. The Red Hot Puppermints require beet powder, which at our organic grocery store cost over $35 a pound. The little bag I bought was over $6. They also include explanations of the benefits of some of the ingredients: natural food colorings, avoid the onions, broth vs. gravy, preparing the beef, substitutions - just do it, oils, fish for dogs, parsley packs a punch, liver - it's time to love it, benefits of molasses, benefits of barley flour, the goodness of garlic, lickin' their chops for chicken, rosemary for more than seasoning, nuts - the good, the bad and the ugly, flaxseeds, spinach - leaf & green, broccoli - it's hard to beat, carob, out of the patch and into the bowl (pumpkin), ginger, white chocolate in moderation, an apple a day, oats & oat bran, peanut butter, peppermint, apple cider vinegar, berry, berry yummy, yogurt? you bet!, zucchini's zogood, a taste of the tropics (coconut), carrots for breakfast, the "eyes" have it (pupeyes), flying treats (yams), herbs for life, grain-free flours, gobbling up turkey, home on the range (buffalo) and salmon. If this has piqued your interest, you might want to think about ordering the book. It's well worth the price. The organic ingredients can be a littly pricy, but I'm glad to know that my puppy is getting something that's not full of fillers, sugar or salt.

Review: Overall this is a very nice cook book, the recipes are easy to follow. I did find one glaring error though as the "Lamb Lovies" recipe has no lamb measurement ingredient listed .... I was disappointed by this as it was one of the recipes that I was particularly interested in. I suspect it was an error in editing and typing to leave out a key ingredient measurement ..... I will go by other meat recipe measurements and adlib the fresh lamb puree for this cookie.

Review: Overall, I am happy with the cookbook, it is easy to understand and the ingredients can be easily found in the supermarket. It also provided guides on what storage tips, ingredient substitution, tools needed etc . The paper quality of the book is also great. However, I feel that it would be perfect if only the pictures of each and every treats completed can be included to this book so that readers would have an idea on how the end product looks like. Tried baking quite a few of the cookies, my pup loves it. As a beginner in baking, this book really renders good guide.
