Title: 💝 Sick day essentials baby shower gift
Review: I own this thermometer and have liked it for when I need it! It’s affordable, accurate, easy to use, easy to hold and I have never run into it being out of battery in between use. Ultimately just makes my life easier! I attended a baby shower recently for a first time mom and I decided to pack a reusable storage box with a bunch of nice to have essentials as my gift. Along with other items, I purchased this thermometer again to include along with some other sick-day essentials- I figured best case, maybe they don’t have a baby thermometer yet and if they do, can you ever have enough thermometers? Will be a good one to keep in a travel bag, in the car, with a nanny, etc.Anyway, I like that not only do I like it for myself but that it’s also an accurate and affordable option for babies and children, too. I will buy again and again for the next ones!

Title: Somewhat inconsistent readings but quick and easy to use
Review: I compared this to using a regular mercury thermometer and it matches up within 0.4 degrees F most of the time. The readings are inconsistent, which is concerning. Two readings from this thermometer from the exact same location on someone's forehead only 10 seconds apart can differ by up to 1 degree. I do recommend this thermometer because it is quick and easy to use, but if accuracy is important I would recommend measuring 3 times with it and taking the middle reading. This is absolutely good enough for "does this person have a fever" but I wouldn't say it is accurate enough to say "this person's temperature is exactly 97.6 degrees".

Title: Doesn't work for very long.
Review: we bought this as grandparents who have the grandkids over sometimes. Even though we've had this thermometer more than 3 years, we have probably only needed it 10 times. But the last time we needed it, it would not work, even with fresh batteries. I wouldn't buy this product again.

Title: Easy to use and accurate
Review: We were replacing our old oral stick thermometers. Although they were digital and easy to read they were top heavy and uncomfortable to use. Also their accuracy wasn't spot on. When we knew that we didn't have a fever it would state 97 degrees instead of something closer to 98.6 degrees. So we always had to guess what the actual reading was.This unit is completely the opposite. It is spot on and easy to read and understand. The huge bonus is the speed in which it works. No waiting for two minutes to get a reading. It is immediate. I am very pleased with this unit.
