Why BluDento BLT-2 Lossless Bluetooth Receiver ? We have an on-board TI DAC for analog output, others do not. BluDento automatically enters pairing mode when it is powered on and does not require manual operation. Auto Reconnect: Turn on your phone's Bluetooth first, then launch BluDento. BluDento does not require a driver and does not require an APP, while WiFi audio receivers require a driver and require an APP.
BLUDENTO TRANSFORM OLD SYSTEM TO NEW ONE. Great product to add BLUETOOTH to your old stereo. It has RCA jacks, optical and coaxial outputs that you can plug into your home stereo sound system to play your music at an amplified level. All outputs work at the same time
HIGH DEFINITION & HI-RES AUDIO: BluDento receiver allows a great Hi-Res digital sound over Bluetooth. It employs a separate digital-analogue-converter chip to enable audiophile grade sound output at the analog RCA jacks. The well and natural sounding Texas Instruments DAC of PCM5102A is the key to the nice sound quality of this device
ENHANCED DISTANCE: Enough range to take your phone anywhere on the main level and not have it to lose the connection. The working range especially outside like in a garden is considerably better than other Bluetooth audio receiver. It is mainly due to the external antenna
IN THE BOX: 1. BluDento aptX HD Bluetooth audio receiver; 2. TOSLINK optical audio cable 0.8m; 3. RCA audio cable 0.8m; 4. RCA to 3.5mm adapter female to male 0.15m; 5. Micro USB power cable 1m; 6. User Manual; 7. DC 5V USB power plug required ( NOT INCLUDED ); 8. Coaxial audio cable ( NOT INCLUDED )

Title: I have two words for you: freaking awesome
Review: I don't usually write reviews because it's not often I find a product that is exactly what I want and lives up to my expectations. I wanted a Bluetooth audio receiver (to connect my iPhones to my tuner that drives all speakers on my main level) with these criteria: 1.) enough range to take the phone anywhere on the main level and not have it lose the connection, 2.) good enough audio quality to not notice the difference between audio streaming from my phone and that coming from the PC directly connected to the tuner, 3.) "always on" simple, quick connect and disconnect, without it automatically reconnecting after I've disconnected it, 4.) not have to pay more than one hundred dollars for it. (I knew I'd have to pay more than those cheap car receivers, but I also wasn't willing to shell out several hundred for one of the professional grade audio receivers.)And this is it. It's EXACTLY all that, and as best as I can tell so far, works perfectly. It pairs instantly with our iPhones (it connects like Bluetooth headphones do) and audio playback works great. Disconnect is just as fast and doesn't reconnect when I don't want it to. Signal strength is great. I can indeed pair it from anywhere on my main floor and stream music, and the receiver sits on the other side of the refrigerator and the center load bearing wall of the house. Sound quality is good; it's perfectly acceptable to me. I generally don't notice the difference, though if I listen very carefully, I might be able to tell, depending on the song. The only thing (and I expected this) is that I have to turn the playback volume on the phone up pretty far to get a decent volume level coming into the tuner. (The receiver doesn't amplify, nor did I expect it to.) Again, completely acceptable.Considering this was the only product I found that met my criteria, seems well made, and does exactly what I wanted, I'm thrilled. Well done, Bludento!

Title: Great little gadget for my existing setup
Review: I am getting this BT receiver to add “modern” convenience to my existing sound systems.  I have newer BT speakers such as Sony XB7, LG FH6 and a few JBL Flips.  They are so easy and convenient, we rarely use my old sound system anymore.  These BT speakers sound good, but not as good as my good old pals. The original BLT-2 I received had problem with hissing when music plays. Emailed seller and worked with their tech support. They quickly sent me a replacement. This device connects quickly and easily. It is always on standby just like my Sony and LG Bluetooth speakers. That means you can wake it up by pairing it with your phone. BLT comes with a DAC and it sounds good. Better than the BT chip used in Sony and LG.  There are no startup POPs or Clicks when connecting and there is no audible floor noise. Another bonus is that the DAC retains Left/Right stereo channels.I did the following A/B test with my 3.5mm cable against the BLT-2.  Source is Galaxy S7, using PowerAmp, playing 24bits 48khz MP3 files.BLT with TDK BoomboxBLT to tube-amp to AGK 240 headphone BLT to Sony AV receiver to 7.1 speakersBLT to Mackie ProFX12 mixer to KRK active monitor speakersBLT to Crown XLI 1500 amp to two 12” PA speakersThey all sound as good as wired with no extra noise.  Only thing I noticed is that the volume is not as loud as going thru 3.5mm cable.  I am not sure if it has to do with the output voltage of the BLT. Maybe using a different USB power plug will make a difference? Have not try that yet.  I am using an old left over LGphone power plug that is rated 5v DC 0.6A.Another thing to consider before buying this BLT or any Bluetooth receiver is that there is going to be a lag.  That means you can’t use this for mixing or beatmatching. But for movie and music listening, it will be fine. This BLT actual has the least lag compare to other BT speakers I owned.  Sony XB7 has the worse lag.  LG’s is a little better but still noticeable.  JBL is better than the LG.  This BLT beats them all with the APTX.I have no complaint for this receiver itself for sound quality and range. I am happy that I have Bluetooth capability now with my old system.  I was going to take a star off because of the accessories it came with. RCA cable it came with is too loose, the USB cable is too short.  I end up using my own cables.  However, Customer Service was great and responded promptly.

Title: Convenience and ease of use.
Review: Update, 1/27/20Finally decided to use the built in DAC, it works well and i enjoy the sound signature. No complaints and honestly allot of praise. This unit may not satisfy true high end audiophiles but should work really well for the other 90% of us looking for some streaming convenience.Original review:I did not need nor do I have the ability to use the added features of the newer model so i chose the original and could not be happier with the convenience and ease of use. I’m not trained enough to hear any of the subtle nuances lost in my music due to using BT nor do i have equipment good enough to care. This little gadget lets me stream Tidal, pandora, amazon, spotify and my own files and I’m no longer tethered by a 16ft USB cable running across my living room trying to play my system off my laptop. Now i can use my phone or tablets to stream direct to my stereo. I get 45feet of distance from my kitchen to my living room uninterrupted. Sound quality seems fine and the unit fired up within seconds. I used coaxial to an SMSL SU8 dac to Emotiva PA-1 monoblocks feeding Klipsch Heresy speakers. It’s a party all the time now and the girlfriend loves how easy this thing is to use, no more complicated start up sequences or worries of blowing anything up. This thing is worth its weight in gold if for no other reason that it quelled the nagging in my home over getting the music going. YMMV

Review: Bought a separate plugtop power supply (mini usb). Would be nice to have that as an optional extra, especially as my old stereo does not have a usb port.Easy to plug up and make BT connection, superb sound quality, and BT range is excellent. Device receives perfectly from anywhere in my house.

Review: Having an amplifier that is high end but pre Bluetooth I needed a device to easily get my music thru the system I have with ease and also inexpensive. The BluDento is perfect for this, further after about 18 months it, for some reason, ceased to function, BluDento replaced the unit after I contacted them and were extremely helpful, their customer service was exemplary.

Review: This BT receiver is incredible value for money. Set up was very simple and the option to connect it up with an external DAC made listening to high-res streaming services like Tidal and Primephonic a joy. The only shortcoming is that there is no USB power adapter.
