Title: Finally, a zip storage bag I can feel good about.
Review: I absolutely love these bags. Others have complained about how difficult it is to get them open and I acknowledge that. However, once you get the hang of it, because it is different than what you're used to, it's totally worth it to use these bags instead of plastic. I'm finding numerous non-food uses for them, as well, just as I would for ziplock plastic bags. I have some that I've opened and resealed dozens of times.In addition, I sometimes have food go bad that needs to be disposed of. I keep food scraps separate from other trash. I can put spoiled food in these, then put them in my food scraps pale to reduce the smell. They will decompose in a compost pile.If you care about how much plastic you're using, give these a try.

Title: Not easy to use.
Review: I bought these because they are compostable. Good value for the money. The problem is they, more often than not, tear trying to open them.See photo. Not just one or two of them. At least half could not be opened before they tore. Once the zipper lining is gone, they are even harder to open. I tried being gentler, opening from the ends, the middle, and points in between. No discernable difference. Wasted money.

Title: basically trash
Review: I bought these since they were compostable instead of traditional ziplocks but they're garbage - I cannot open them. most are completely sealed shut on the top and the others I cannot get the 'zipper' to release, I even cut one of the bags down the side to try and pry the zipper apart with my pocket knife after trying forever to get it to release and even with the bag ripped apart I cannot 'unzip' the ziplock seal. I don't know if I got a defective box or what but these are worthless.

Title: Impressive
Review: I was skeptical of these, but thought I would try them and we absolutely love them!!! The ziplock seals and love the texture of the bag. My daughter was visiting and she was sold on them too!
