Title: Good Recipies, for a more mild/health Consious Pallet
Review: I have made at this point a decent amount of the recipes for the book after my partner was diagnosed with Celiac. And I think for cost-value of cookbooks it has served me extremely well. The one note I will make after making the recipes and tasting them, is they tend to cater to a more health conscious and mild flavor pallet.I usually before the gluten-free shift would make more rich foods with heavy seasoning, so the pivot and different 'feel' was a bit of an adjustment. Some stuff like the sweet potato sides had a similar feel, but overall it felt a lot more clean tasting than the normal person may be used to.Still extremely tasty, but be aware if that sort of thing is your jam or not and make adjustments accordingly. I found myself often adding an extra half-teaspoon of certain seasonings or utilizing a bit more butter/oil to get things tasting how most glutened food is. (And we are a household that tends to not like super oily/unhealthy foods)

Title: My favorite cookbook, and I donât even avoid gluten!
Review: We got this cookbook when trying to figure out a family memberâs food sensitivities. Turns out gluten wasnât the culpritâBUT I still make at least one of these recipes every week! The recipes tend to be simple with great results. There are vegetarian options, slimmed-down versions of comfort foods, and plenty of easy weeknight meals. My husband says he prefers the Italian Stuffed-Pepper âPizzasâ to actual pizza since itâs just as flavorful but without the carbs. Other family favorites include the Beef Chili, the One-Pot Hamburger Pasta, and Vegan Sloppy Joes. Some people are bothered by the lack of photography on every page. I personally havenât found this to be a problem, especially since the page layouts are easier to read that way. I havenât tried any of the baked goods so I canât comment on those.I find these recipes to be very simpleâbut Iâve been cooking healthy recipes for many years. I can see there being a bit of a learning curve if you arenât sure how to handle lentils or make a sauce from scratchâbut many of the recipes mentioned above donât require these things.Iâd definitely recommend this cookbook for anyone looking for easy, healthy family mealsâwhether youâre watching gluten or not.

Title: Maybe Good for Beginners - Very little flavor
Review: First of all- for the people complaining about the cookbook using gluten-free ingredients- it's a cookbook for a gluten-free diet so of course the ingredients are gluten-free..... With that said, I really wanted to like this cookbook, but I just don't. The recipes are bland and way too basic- very few fresh ingredients- I had already bought the ingredients for 6 recipes so I vowed to make them all- after the 3rd flop, I started googling similar recipes so I could still use the ingredients.
