Title: Deeper than the average egg slicer
Review: The deeper well holds the egg in place better than what you usually find in the kitchen gadget aisle. Works on strawberries and mushrooms as well. Slices easily and easy to rinse off and wash in hot, soapy water.

Review: I dice a lot of eggs. One direction is easy and the slices are perfect. But other slicers are not made to lift and turn the sliced egg to cut in the other direction resulting in a diced egg. Pieces spill out, not all are cut and the whole thing is messy. The KitchenAid slicer is large enough in both directions so that you can pick up the slices as if they had not been cut, turn it and slice again in the other direction. Perfectly diced eggs! No pieces dangling out or smashed into the body of the cutter. It is then easy to clean the slicer. It seems very sturdy and I am quite pleased.

Title: Easy to Use, Smooth Cuts, Easy to Clean
Review: This is easy to use - you just put the egg in and gently lower the top. I use it to make diced eggs for salads - turning the egg 90 degrees after the first slice - and it works great. The cuts are smooth, and there are no squished egg pieces. It's also easy to clean - I rinse it off and place it open on its side in the dishwasher, and it always comes out fine.

Review: Works well. Sturdy. Easy to clean, but large. Downside is it doesn't fit in the knife drawer where I kept all my previous ones. Had to find an alternate, less convenient storage spot.

Review: This is the best egg slicer I've ever had. I use them for eggs, strawberries, mushrooms, etc. This slicer has a deeper than normal well so the item being sliced cant slip away while the wires are being pressed down. It makes a difference.
