Title: Whoa!
Review: With so many cookbooks on the market, it's difficult to find one that is FULL of inspiring and tasteful recipes. Well my friends, this book is exactly that!Living in a country where most every dish has a sauce of some type, this book is an inspiration! Using the sauce as is or adding your spin, leaves you with a win-win!This book is well put together and it's a good read! Simple and beautiful described. I do believe a beginner could easily follow the recipes. If I had to complain, I would request more photos of each finished recipe.I have studied sauces for about a decade and I am impressed with this book, leaving me with an excited "Whoa!"

Title: Most useful cookbook in the kitchen
Review: While I've only had a chance to make a few of these so far, they have each been easy and elevated the meal to a different standard. The SOS tips are particularly interesting and helpful (i.e greening up chimichirri) Awesome job Mark! So far I have used this book to supplement meals I'd already planned, but each has been so good that I'm looking forward to planning meals around some of the sauces and recipes I haven't tried.

Title: Not really what i wanted
Review: Was hoping for book on lots of sauces. This has many sauces and recipes to go with the sauces but is not primarily sauce focused. But book is fine.

Title: Demystifies sauces
Review: The book pairs sauces with foods at the beginning and then sorts out the sauces by category. I've made the marinara sauce and it's now my standard for spaghetti/lasagna. The béchamel and mornay sauces look delicious. I love this book!

Title: Very satisfied, and great value.
Review: Very nice. Could have been sturdier binding. Liked the pictures. It had no 'sweet and sour' recipes for Asian style foodhowever, it made up for it with some nice gravy recipes.
