Title: Great gloves for fitness classes.
Review: I take a HIIT (high intensity interval training) boxing class twice a week. There is bag work but no sparring. I had been using the provided gloves and wraps but decided it was more hygienic to get my own so I was looking for inexpensive but quality gloves and warps. Several boxing blogs recommended Venum, and one specifically recommended the Challenger 2.0 for beginners. I use the 14 oz gloves (the "size" is based on your height and weight and how you will be using them not your hand size) because those are considered good for both bag work and sparring should I ever decide to do that.I've now been using these gloves for two weeks in conjunction with the Venum Kontact Gel Glove Wraps Venum "Kontact" Gel Glove Wraps, Black and the combination is great. The gloves are snug but not constricting and they feel very secure with the wraps on underneath them. I am able to close the large velcro closures easily and tightly (using my teeth to close my right hand after my left hand is already gloved).I was a little apprehensive when I first tried them on, though. They seemed very tight and my hands are what I would consider medium. This turned out to just be new product stiffness and they totally softened up during that first class. They are super comfy, much better than the class provided gloves. As for care, I wipe off the entire glove, inside and out, with anti-bacterial wipes after every class then lay them out in the sun with the velcro closures open. I do the same with the wraps I wear. I've read where you can put them in the freezer to destroy any lingering bacteria. I haven't tried that yet, but probably will when they are a few more weeks older.

Title: They may change the way you work the bag... In a good way!
Review: I've recently added a heavy bag routine to my workout and I was using the Everlast gloves that were included with my bag. Let me say this, there's a reason those gloves come "free" with the bag, it's because they absolutely suck. I didn't realize this until I picked up a pair of these beauties. I'll be honest, I picked these up because they were cheaper than a comparable pair of Everlast and WAY cheaper than the Title brand that my friends recommended, no disrespect to the pricier gloves, but I just didn't need them for 2-3 bag sessions a week... The Venum gloves have ample wrist support and fantastic shock absorption. I picked up my 14-ounce pair for around $48 bucks and I'll be honest I was pretty leery given how my hand felt after a 45 minute session with the bag in my old gloves from an Everlast brand that I "knew", these gloves have honestly changed how I work the bag. I can now hit the bag harder without fear of my wrist support not being there. The 14-ounce gloves fit me like a... well... glove. I'm 5'10" and about 165 lbs and I'd say my hands are on the larger side of "medium"... or the smaller side of "large" figures if you're a half empty or half full kind of person I guess.Just a few maintenance tips that I've picked up over the past few months of use:1. When you finish spray down the inside with a bit of Lysol (or knock-off) disinfectant2. Next stuff in a bit of newspaper to allow airflow to move through the gloves3. Don't stuff them into a nasty gym bag, let them air out in your garage or basement4. If you really want them to smell fresh you can go out and pick up a cheap bag of hamster cedar bedding, stuff two clean gym socks with the bedding, tie them off and then insert like the newspaper up there in step 2. That's a poor man's/woman's glove deodorizer right there (and what I use...)Cheers!

Title: Nice 14oz
Review: These gloves are amazing, the reason i gave them a 4 star is due to the padding. The cushion feels amazing but i tried on other gloves to hit the heavy bag.

Title: I needed these gloves and might purchase another pair!
Review: Joining UFC Gym and having to use borrowed gloves and other gear was a pain. Buying these gloves alleviated that need. I may get another pair for other purposes, however.

Review: Lo Consiglio per la Buona costruzione e buoni materiali. Stabilità al polso. Forma adeguata per le dita, che in altri modelli ho trovato corta e quindi molto scomoda. Più adatto per una mano grande.
