Title: Item totally mis represented and worthless
Review: This "taostee microwave sandwich: product is totally misrepresented here on Amazon. Instruction card that comes with it warns you that cooking in an over is better because a microwave will leave the sandwich squishy and not crispy... It also warns you not to heat the over over 270 degrees F since it could melt the rubber shell of the device. How does a product like this pass on Amazon when it is a totally worthless product and is a totally falsification of the item in its description. I will clearly advise you not to waste your money on this product. It is truly worthless and dangerous to use additionally.

Title: Effortless and Easy
Review: Great product and my family loves it! It is easy to use, and easy to clean. Love the grill marks and the toast for grilled cheese sandwiches is nice and crispy. In three minutes I have a nice delicious sandwich. And it's versatile for a variety of ideas. I used two slices of Harvarti cheese and buttered Sara Lee Artisano bread. It made a nice cheese skirt around my sandwich! Just the way I like it!

Title: Mostly works but takes a long time in the microwave
Review: I have a full-power nice microwave and it took 5min in this device in the microwave to make a toasted pastrami sandwich. Not great. In truth, it does work but it just takes a while. I'd say if you have any other option (air fryer, toaster oven, etc.) then use that. To me, this is a last resort item. If you have another way of making your food then it'd be better to use that. Also, please do not try and make chicken in this (as the pamphlet suggests you should). You'll almost certainly poison yourself.

Title: Too small
Review: The size of this would work with Wonder Bread of the olden days. But I love Daveâs Killer Bread, and it just wonât fit. So havenât really given it a try yet.

Title: Toastie
Review: I donât know what magic is in this thing, but I am absolutely obsessed. It is so nice to be able to make my daughter grilled cheese sandwiches without having to get out the pan I simply just butter two pieces of bread put her cheese inside, throw in pepperoni some times and pop it in the microwave. It comes out perfectly at first only one side was getting a little bit more crispier so I flip it halfway through to get both sides evenly crisp, but this thing is awesome definitely recommend.

Title: It works OKish? Beats a microwave oven but not a skillet.
Review: Letâs be clear up front: the Microwave Toastie Sandwich Maker is easy to use and beats anything you could do with just a microwave oven and nothing else. That said, when it comes to toasting bread and melting sandwich contents, itâs no match for a skillet. I followed the instructions to the letter. I buttered the bread on the outside (as I normally would with a skillet grilled cheese anyway) and added two slices of American cheese between two slices of sliced honey wheat bread and microwaved as instructed. The bread came out about 25% toasty and the rest soggy from the butter. The American cheese was completely melted and about 35% had leaked from the sandwich and lay in the sandwich maker. The sandwich was OK - I could eat it - but I still wanted a skillet made sandwich. The metal plates easily come out of the silicone covers so theyâre both easy to clean. Reassembly is also pretty easy, just a matter of slipping the metal plate into one side of the silicone cover and then working your way back around the perimeter. No big deal.Overall? Perhaps this is good for a kidâs dorm room or maybe an office with a microwave but nothing else. Otherwise, just buy a skillet.

Title: Even They Don't Believe
Review: So yea, when the instructions of your "Microwave Toastie Sandwich Maker" tells you that "It may make the sandwich soggy by using microwave," then I think we've got a fundamental product problem here. Sure, it turns out they're right; using this in the microwave does not magically make your sandwich crispy, it is in fact soggy, but that's not exactly the pitch I got in the description of this wildly expensive product. And no, I do not think $30 is literally expensive, just that at that price I'd expect 2 things: my product to work, and not be flaking apart as I type this. Which is exactly what is happening; in the photo of my maker there's some silver spots, which is where the non-stick coating has started peeling/breaking off after a single use (more accurately, it was like that before the first use.) So what do we have here? A product that doesn't work as advertised, and appears to be turning to dust before my eyes. A true 1/5, but really a 0/5 if that was an option.
