Remove the bread pan from the baking chamber.Add ingredients to the bread pan in the order listed in the recipe.Install the bread pan into the baking chamber.

2. Select Menu, Crust Color, Loaf Size & Start Bread Machine

Press MENU button to select your desired menu.Press SIZE button to select desired loaf size from 1LB and 1.5LB. Press COLOR button to select desired crust color from Light, Medium, and Dark.*(Optional) Press TIME+ / TIME- buttons to set delay timer.*Press START/STOP button to start the bread machine. The bread machine will automatically take care of Mix, Knead, Ferment, Bake and Keep Warm cycles. The LCD will display a countdown timer to indicate the remaining working time.**

* The Loaf Size, Crust Color and Delay Timer adjustment function of some menus are not applicable. ** During the bread making, you can press and hold START/STOP button 3 seconds to stop the bread machine if needed.

Title: Homemade Bread is so Yummy!
Review: I am not an accomplished bread baker but my Oatmeal Bread came out perfectly the two times I have made it. Have not made anything else but whole wheat is on my list.This is a great addition to my kitchen, not expensive and easy to store. The directions are very explicit and you will feel very confident when your first loaf comes out perfect!

Title: Great machine
Review: I just received my bread maker today and immediately went to work making a 1.5 loaf of bread. I chose the recipe with old fashioned oats and it turned out beautifully. Rose so high that it actually pressed into the window of the lid. Only negative thing I noticed was that taking it out when it was hot was difficult because I could not get a hold of the handle of the container because the bread was so tall and getting it twisted to get it unlocked from the base without getting burned at the same time was a challenge. But I finally got it out and the loaf of bread came out very easily leaving the paddle in the bucket. The bread was wonderful and well shaped. I want to also note that the noise while it was working was not overly loud. I had a bread maker years and years and years ago and this one didn't seem any different noise wise. Not too noisy. I like the fact that it has 19 different recipe options and also options for delay start and keeping warm after it's baked. I also like the options for doing other types of recipes besides bread that don't require kneeding or raising time. The recipe book and the instruction manual are quite helpful and easy to read. But in my excitement to make bread I failed to read far enough into the book and did my first recipe without doing a preheat of 10 minutes to get the factory oils burned off of the inside of the machine. Oops. But I didn't notice any thing bad with the flavor of the bread when it was done. Another plus is that this unit has a 2-year warranty. Other bread makers have only a one year warranty. This unit also came with 2 paddles (one being a spare part since the machine only uses one paddle), 2 measuring cups, and 2 measuring spoons. Other units that I have noted only Supply one of each of these items. If there's any other negative for me it is that the loaves of bread are vertical in shape as opposed to horizontally shaped like regular bread you buy at the store. The handle on the machine itself is a nice feature to be able to move the machine from place to place if you need to. I haven't seen that anywhere else. All in all I am very happy with this product. And the price is cheaper than many other machines.

Title: Great bread machine
Review: Love the 2 small loaf sizes. It is perfect for a small family. I would rather make the bread more frequently than to have the bread get dry because of it sitting around too long. A 2# loaf is too big for a small family. I love the light color of the bread on the light cycle. The top is very light but the sides are perfect. I used my own recipe rather than those given. The bread turned out delicious! One thing I didn't like was the hole the paddle made in the bread. I have had a bread machine before so knew there would be a hole in the bottom of the bread but because the paddle is so large extending upward it leaves a long split in the bread at the hole. One way to avoid this is to remove the paddle on the last rise cycle. When you do that it leaves only a small hole with no slit. (The first pic above is obviously the paddle, 2nd pic is the hole the paddle made in the bread once the bread came out of the pan. 3rd pic is the slice in the center where the paddle raises up into the bread because of its height. 4th pic is the 1# size, 5th pic is the hole when the paddle is removed at the end of the last knead cycle. 6th and 7th pics are the 1 and and 1/2# size loaf). I would definitely recommend this product. I have only tried the 2 different loaf sizes and only on the white bread cycle even though in one of the loaves I used some whole wheat mixed with white. Very happy so far.

Review: Love the carrying handle. Makes a perfectly sized loaf and on my first try. I figure that for two people who don't eat much bread to begin with, two loaves a week will suffice.
