Conceived by the imaginative and intricately-plotting Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes has become a significant piece of popular culture and a legend in his own right. Together in this must-have collection are 33 classic episodes from Sheldon Reynolds' 1954 television series that features Ronald Howard as the quirky but genial caper-cracking sleuth, H. Marion-Crawford as his faithful companion, Watson, and Archie Duncan as the amateurish but well-meaning Inspector Lestrade.

Title: Calling all mystery buffs! Enjoyable watching!
Review: While some of these are well-known, many are not easily found and will doubtless be "fresh and new" to the viewer. This collection is a super value for all of the original shows it contains. A good break from the usual tv-fare these days. Notably, what some shows are, ahem, considered and labeled, adult (hence, racy) in content....... they were all readily considered quite tame by all of us when compared in the least to any primetime hours broadcast shows on any ordinary television in today's settings. Particularly enjoyable for those who not only favor intrigue of the mystery genre, but also for fans of anything-British to see the settings, period clothing, decor and autos.

Title: Two Disc Collection of British Mysteries
Review: One series is entirely Sherlock Holmes' TV series with Ronald Howard &H. Marian Crawford. The second series is a collection of 17 different mysteries including: Alfred Hitchcock, Bulldog Drummond, Boris Karloff, Dick Tracy, Mr. Wong, Vincent Price, Nancy Drew, several others. This is a wonderful entertaining mystery collection for any leisure mystery lover of the classic British "Who Done IT?

Title: Good Case, but leatherette better.
Review: Good Case, but leatherette better.I have similar cases that are "leather" like material. Those are much sturdier than this, which is a lighter weight fabric. Also, I have it only about 80% full and it's already "bulging at the seams" -- not sure it will close properly when 100% full.

Review: It was black and white and the programs were so old they were blurry. I looked, at no time was it advertised as black and white. I was really disappointed and it went straight into the rubbish.
