Title: Poor quality printing
Review: Super disappointed with the quality of the book itself. The cover is bright and colorful and inviting. Inside it's black and white grainy pictures and huge text to try and increase the length of the book.

Review: This is the second cabbage cookbook I've bought on Amazon and this is an improvement on the first. That's a very low bar by the way.The problem is that for the price I'd expect a professional book edited to a good quality, which this isn't. Did you forget to proof read it or what?I read a previous review that said the pictures don't match the recipes. I assumed they'd got muddled up, not so. The pictures are ridiculously wrong. The cabbage chips recipe is accompanied by a picture of fish and chips. Your warm pecan slaw looks quite a lot like a slice of cake...The intro talks about cooking with love. Shame the book wasn't created with the same attitude. The world is crying out for a good cabbage cookbook. This is not it.

Review: Not much variety in the recipes. Uses a lot of ingredients like ground beef. Lots of spelling mistakes. Pictures are generally not of the recipe. The recipes themselves may be fine, and I am hoping to find something in here, but I think I will have to go to my other cookbooks for cabbage recipes. There wasn't really a lot said on cabbage even. Not much content in the book. If you're really struggling to find something cabbage, maybe you'll get something out of it, but it's the absolute worst resource imaginable, and not vegan or vegetarian. There is no vegan or vegetarian section. There are two side sections and one main section. Recipes are very basic. I can't say that you won't find anything in this book, but it is disappointing, and it would be nice to have proper pictures to know what one is making. An internet search is definitely better, way better, than this book. Author sounds very talented, so perhaps when she's not too busy she could write a proper book instead? I think people really need that. It sounds like given the time and care she could probably write a really good book on cabbage, or maybe co-author one would be better. Would be much appreciated.

Review: I heard about The Cabbage Cookbook several times on the CBC Radio, how it was written in Prince Edward Island, was a sellout, & given rave reviews by the NY Times, while the author was being interviewed. So was thrilled it was on Amazon. It wasn't the same book .... this book was by an American author. Furthermore, it was very plainly laid out with dull, uninspiring black & white photos, and the cover was bent! Very disappointing. Amazon should have the Canadian "Cabbage Cookbook" for customers in Canada.
