Title: COOL!
Review: I purchased a wine refrigerator and wanted to keep it in a walk-in closet (that’s where we kept wine before the fridge). Problem: there was no plug in the closet. There WAS a plug on the wall just outside, though. I purchased a two inch hole saw, did an exploratory drill with a smaller bit to ensure I wasn’t going to hit boards or wires, then drilled the 2” hole. Once that was done, I ran one half of the pass through into the wall, then attached the other half on the other side. Perfect fit. Nice feature— I didn’t need anyone to hold the pass through on the other side of the wall while I screwed it together. The thing stayed out as I tightened, which was very convenient.

Title: Quick and easy install, but will likely need 2 people
Review: This worked well for the simple task it promises creating a clean pass through for wiring. The provided instructions were clear and sufficiently detailed for most users. But having experience with wiring most of my home, and needing to land the hole in a restricted area, I chose a different method for the first step of picking a location to drill. Instead of measuring, I used a coat hanger wire (with the tip cut at an angle) as a tiny probe drill to fully penetrate the wall. As you can see in the first photo if you look closely, it took a couple tries but since the probe was so small it'll just take a dab of mud to patch the holes. The full width wire made sure that the holes were square to the wall and that drilling the larger hole from both sides would be straight and properly aligned.Once the drill location was finalized, the rest of the installation proceeded per the instructions without any major problems. In my case, since the installation was near a corner opening, I was able to reach both sides of the wall myself. But as the instructions mention, in other situations you will need someone on each side or will need to tape the first half in position on one side while you screw in the other side. And this was the one difficulty I had, getting the second half started to screw into the first half. It was rather fiddly to get started even when I could feel both sides myself. It might be harder with a second person holding it. And I can't imagine succeeding with it held loosely by tape. I would advise making sure it was firmly held in position before trying to screw in the other side. But once started, it was easier to snug down than I had thought would be the case when I first looked at it. I had imagined the smooth edges on the wall flange and the tapered outside would slip on the wall when trying to rotate it to install. And the thin edges might be difficult to grip. But the sleeve stayed in position well on one side and it was easy to put reasonable force on the other until it was tight. Overall installation time from finalizing location to completion was exactly 20 minutes. And that included pauses to find drill extensions and rig up some catch bags for drywall dust. So the 15-20 min time estimate in the instructions was spot on.A couple improvements to suggest for future models: Add a slight bevel to the outer screw end to aid in alignment inside the wall during assembly. The actual outer diameter is 1-3/4" while the drill hole is 2" so adding a bit should not interfere. And although it did not slip on my textured walls, adding small ribs similar to those found on drywall anchors might help prevent rotation on smooth walls. My one concern is durability. Since this is 3D printed, breakage at the layer lines is always a concern. In this case the layers are parallel to the wall. If seasonal expansion and contraction becomes large enough, it may become damaged. But for now, it seems firm and sturdy enough. For simple home use where a few wires need to pass through, this works well and is easily installed.
