Title: My Dream Camera!
Review: Without a doubt this camera is everything I wanted it to be and could even go further to say it’s exceeded my anticipated expectations! Love all of its features including the built-in cooling system, recording lights, built-in stabilization, and more amazing components.Being that this was my first big purchase for a cinema line camera, I love the fact that it’s easy to learn your way around its controls and how it’s intended for filmmakers with having that extra option of shooting great photos! (Let’s not forget it’s exceptional low-light performance)Overall, great camera and worth its investment if you’re trying to upgrade your arsenal.

Title: Amazing Camera!!!
Review: Decided to upgrade my primary video camera to the FX3 and I couldn't be happier. I've already had the chance to use it in multiple scenarios from a light weight run and gun shoot on my gimbal to a more fully rigged out set up for a TV shoot. Navigating to the settings I need is a breeze with the new menu setup. I can shoot faster and more efficiently than ever. The ability to shoot 4k at 60fps with no crop is awesome and 10bit 4:2:2 gives so much latitude in post. Also the picture I get straight out of camera with no editing or post-production is absolutely fantastic. This camera is also "Netflix Approved" which sounds great to clients. The features, picture, and small form factor make this a very formidable camera to own. If you are a videographer and considering whether or not to get this camera, I say just do it. You will not regret it.

Title: If you want the best
Review: This camera is outstanding. It’s my first real camera and packs in every feature you could possibly want as a hybrid shooter who primarily produces videos. The low-light performance is remarkable, preserving detail in even the most challenging environments. The dual SD card slots and weather sealing features are another set of highlights that really make this camera feel “pro.” But I think one of my absolute favorite features is the fact that there are 2 record buttons, one of which faces outward so if you’re filming yourself, you can easily start/stop. On the topic of recording, the red indicator lights placed all around the camera are an excellent touch which makes it extremely easy to tell when you are and are not recording. There are so many features that make this camera great and if you know that you will make use of them, I can’t see any reason why this camera would not satisfy you and then some!

Title: Simply the best.
Review: I tried a bunch of different cameras and lenses in order to find the perfect camera for live production / streaming. I needed a camera which isa) full frameb) can output clean 16:9 on hdmi or sdic) the 16:9 output is coming from full sensor width read (not just a 1:1 read tiny crop from the middle of the sensor like other cameras, i'm looking at you BMDCC6K)d) great in low lightThe FX3 simply checks all these boxes out of the box, and even more. The colors, dynamic range, sharpness, everything out of the box was superb immediately, with very minimal tweaking.I couldn't get close to this particular look with any other cameras, even when I used the exact same lighting and lenses.Every camera has strengths and weaknesses, the FX3 is no exception. Other cameras might has better UI/OS (BMD), better price, or a different color science which might be preferred for others. For my particular use case - high quality live stream with full frame lens, low light - it's beyond perfect.

Title: No More Excuses....
Review: Ok listen....Let me give you a piece of advice. Five star ratings don't come easy by me. And if you're worth your grain of salt- you already know that there isn't, and never will be the "perfect cinema camera". BUT if there were a camera (along with the A7s iii) the FX3 would be as close as you're going to get for a long time, especially at this price point. (Rant Coming) Ok, so it doesn't have but in ND's, or global shutter...Who cares! The sensor readout "feels" like it has global shutter. Get some screw on ND's or a matte box. Really, this camera makes you face the things that truly hold you back. Like lensing, pre-production, lighting, set design, good scripts, and talent! Some advice here: If you're on the fence and can't decide if you should get an Arri Alexa, Red Raptor, BMCC or the like- then explain to me why we have our work on Food Network, Broadcast Commercials, and award winning film shorts. To sum it all up here (and I'm talking to my younger, film school Canon 5DMkii self here) If there was a camera system that held you back the least in the professional world it would be the Sony FX3 (or A7Siii). We currently have the Red Raptor XL, Arri Alexa mini, Canon C200, Panasonic GH5 (love this little powerhouse), Sony A7s iii, Sony FX3, and Sony A7RV. Guess which ones are the most freeing and generate the most profit. Yeah, a full 5 stars for Sony...

Title: A great Cine Camera / Hybrid
Review: I'll keep it simple.- Build Quality feels durable.- Buttons and screen are great. nothing feels cheap at all.- The screen size is decent, but it folds out and it's easy to see.- The option to download luts to the camera is really cool. so when you are shooting in slog or whatever log you use, you can see what you videos will look like before exporting them.I recommend this camera. I'm excited to learn more and share as i use it.

Review: I purchased an Sony FX3 for my son who is in film school and uses the schools FX3. From the moment it arrived it did not work properly. ISO, focus and f stop, first thing my son said "does not work like one at school". After a few days the centre lens pin (#5 in the middle of 10) broke off. Lens was a $1100 Tamron 28 to 75 (purchased from Amazon). Given it was a third party seller and not Amazon selling the camera, you are at the mercy of that seller. BTW that would be all the FX3's on Amazon.ca. All I can say is they didn't believe me saying it was the lens because it's not a Sony lens. The camera sent back to a third party repair centre. It cost aprox $500 to fix and said this 7 day old camera is not covered under warranty! They refunded me cost of camera MINUS the repair. We have since purchased another FX3 from Best Buy, and using the same Tamron lens all is good after a month. Oh everything works perfectly with new camera out of the box ISO, focus and f stop. Conclusion: IF camera is sold from Amazon it's not a problem, IF SOLD FROM SMALL THIRD PARTY STORE **DON'T BUY IT** If anything goes wrong your out of luck. Amazon washed there hands in this, said not our problem. Oh and Amazon extra warranty only covers the repair OVER 20% of camera cost, in other words first $1000 is out of your pocket for this camera, what's the point of getting it?

Review: Pixel mapping helps to get rid of hot pixels (red in my case) but they keep coming back all the time.Batter is not fully charging all the time. Sometimes it is stuck in 80Will get another unit and see.But the picture quality and ergonomics are insane.
