Title: Easy and helps my carpal tunnel
Review: As we get older, life tends to mess with our bodies. Such is the case for me. Arthritis and capal tunnel wrists ache. Even my manual opener gives me issues.I didn't want a large electric opener taking space in my small kitchen. This little miracle has helped A LOT!It pretty much does all the work. A little tricky to figure out at first, but once I did...can opening is easy. It's rechargeable, easy to clean and stops automatically then the job is done. Small enough that it sits nicely in a drawer til needed. This little thing would be an EXCELLENT gift for aging parents and limitedly abled people. Not sure about younger kids though due to the sharp blade. So glad I made the purchase...price great too. Just wish this company would come up with a jar opener that's as easy to use!Great purchase!

Title: Hamilton Beach hand held can opener
Review: This is a fantastic little can opener. In the past year I bought three hand crank can openers. Non worked well from the start and eventually had to be thrown away. Then I bought a battery operated one that skipped around and danced all over the place making screaming noises as if it was possessed. I didnât want a stand up opener because of limited counter space. This little can opener is simple to use and compact. Itâs the perfect size and functions flawlessly. I ran the charger wire into the cupboard for convenient charging and storage. See video and photo.

Title: Smaller than I thought
Review: I really like this little can opener, but it is much smaller than I anticipated. Works very well and charges quickly. I've had it a couple of months and only had to charge once. It is pretty noisy for such a little gadget though. Very easy to use and store away. I do recommend.

Title: So Far Works Well, Nice!
Review: This rechargable, palm size can opener arrived early today and has so far opened a regular 14 oz can and a 28 oz can...easy peasy, fast and smooth procedure. I also removed the cutter assembly...simple to remove and replace. There was no difficulty placing the opener on the cans, no piercing / cutting issue and it stopped after the 1 revolution...magnet held onto the lid...everything worked as it should. I do not opens cans everyday, but after I use it over the next month or two, I plan to update this review if the opener fails or has issues. We are a retired couple, but I didn't give up preparing our meals. I generally like to cook, so we dine out only on average 1 time a week, usually for a breakfast or lunch. Can openers of yesteryear from 60s through end of 90s seem to be among small appliances that offered dependable brands that lasted many years...but in the past 5 or so years in particular, I am finding that the new ones I buy / order are poorly performing and /or stop working after only a few months. So I'm crossing my fingers that this classy, convenient, simple concept can opener continues to work... that will restore my confidence in our country's businesses / corporations ability to produce reliable products and small appliances.

Title: Hard to Get Situated on the Can Properly
Review: This is a cute little can opener, looks great and the concept seems like a smart idea. It's electric but you can put it away when you don't need it so it doesn't take up counterspace. No cords to mess with and holds a charge for quite a while. I was immediately drawn to it!So what's the problem? The problem is, it's a pain to get the can opener situated on the can properly to open it. Half the time the cutting blade mechanism falls off repeatedly before I manage to get it to pierce the lid and start cutting. The other half of the time I just give up and pull out the old manual opener.Obviously, there's some trick to making it work easily that I haven't figured out. But here's my point. Who has time to mess with a can opener learning the "trick" to getting it to open the first time I try? I feel this is a design flaw that HB product managers must work on.

Title: Finally a good can opener!!
Review: I had no idea how hard it would be to find a decent can opener. The manual can openers are terrible these days. They are so hard to use and break easily. Were they always that bad? I don't remember them being so bad growing up. Anyway because they were so hard to use and hurt my hands I decided on an electric can opener. The 1st one I bought from Amazon worked but was a little weird to use. But it worked. Until it needed to be cleaned. I tried to carefully clean it but somehow I still got water in it and it completely quit working. Then I found this one where it comes apart for easy cleaning. This one is NOT weird to use. Idk why other reviews say it is. I love this can opener and am super happy I bought it.

Title: Works great
Review: I was using a manual opener, but broke my hand and needed help. This can opener works great, but takes some getting used to how it operates. I have opened all sized cans with no problem. Have had it 6 months without the need to recharge.

Title: top piece keeps coming out when you lift top off can
Review: I bought this when my awesome gizmo died. It's meh. It's loud and awkward trying to get on the can to open it. When it's done opening the can, the top piece comes out when roving the top of the can. Very frustrating. I'm giving it away and using my hand held old fashioned can opener. And it's loud.

Review: This is a solid purchase and a must have for anyone in the kitchen...I ordered one for a friend after purchasing one for myself...opened over a 100 different cans so far and haven't recharged yet...just insane...it's quick too and self-balancing so you can hands-free it...small...size of a hockey puck...magnetic catch for the cut-out and nice inlay cutting prevents unsafe edges for handling...solid construction and geared low for results every time...no gimmicks or strings unlike cheaper versions...you'll get 10-15 years out of this easily and perhaps longer if you are easy on tools and take care of it.

Review: This is a fantastic can opener. It was expensive but I fine well worth it.. I have only had it for a short time. It is small fits in the cupboard and you charge has you need it but a charge lasts a long time. It takes practice to get it right to put on where it needs to be but after a few times it is a peace of cake.
